Another great find, the effort that Thai people put into hospitality business is rather impressive, they seem relentess in their attitude and work ethic. In a previous video were you talking about getting your bike chain lubed up, and them not wishing payment, an example of customer service that some people only dream of getting. The pool area at night was well thought-out with the lights. I hope the owner gets a lot of business coming their way.

Fortunately Vee has your positive mind around her! All the best. 😊

Omigosh, Vee has certainly had a rough go lately. All the best to her and her recovery. Hospital stays are anything but fun. Hope she gets much better and this does not interfere with your upcoming trip.

I love ban chang! Was there last march,the place was still locked down but,a knock on a bar door would get you in.The noot bar,my absolute favourite! Once the steel shutter came back down myself and the lovely female staff all took our clothes off.

Thanks Good, I was driving in 2020 at night..by that road when they building it.... Catastrophe...dark..no sign..

My concerns now is with vi! Hope she is doing good and what ever hit her is all gone now!! Nice vlog as ever and I sure like those spots, like hidden away from the mainstream ! Hope for a real good trip to India and waiting for som nice updates from you both. I’m off for my “ summer” vacation now, from today to mid February. Haven’t gotten my passport sorted out yet so I’ll be visiting my 3 kids in different parts off Sweden , two of them live around 1000 km from me, so I’ll have some driving to do !

Great video except for the bummer of an ending with Vee. I didn't realize Ban Chang is only 20 min. away with the new highway. Will make at least a day trip there on my next visit. Safe travels for you both .

Now that the tourist are returning to Pattaya, have you ever considered doing a review of some of the live entertainment businesses. Such as cabaret shows, or live bands?

I built a factory for Index just 5 min from BanChang 20 years ago. No accommodations like this back then.

I remember the early 70s bon chon going to the movies watching a John Wayne movie in Thai…so funny.. there was a bigger bar area at a place called newland

Used to have some good weekends at BC before the rot set in, change from Pattaya Sunday roast in the camel was brilliant its built up more now with more new buildings few more 7/11 and BIG C think they are planning for the up grade of the airport at Utapao to bring in more tourist. Went few weeks ago but its seems to be really struggling just hope things get back to how they used to be

That is a very nice resort amongst a classic area and one of the first areas that were built because of the Army Base. Vee WILL recover quickly!

Hi Lucas & Vee hope she feeling better soon she had a bit of bad run with her health lately The resort look ok nice and new but I have say around 2.5 to 3 star finish and a bit of of Pattaya I say more for the expats wanting a break away from crazy ness of Pattaya for a weekend. I agree, I really think Ban Chang needed something like this.

Lucas First I am so sorry to see Vee laid up and laying in a hospital bed. I hope for a speedy recovery. As for the new resort I think it is somewhere that would be added to the places to visit. Use Bolt to get there and back. Once again my thoughts are for Vee.

It could be an involuntary "fear of the unknown" illness as a trip to India as a first trip abroad is quite an undertaking. Both of you need to be ready for culture shocks and understand each other. Your hosts will no doubt dampen the effects. Bon voyage ! 👍😀👍

Great hotel I think they always seem better when they are quite I hope V is on the mend for your trip but of course her health comes first. I didn't make it to Pattaya on my trip went to Krabi but it rained everyday and then a lady dropped boiling coffee on my foot so I'm back in u.k. removing, happy days.
