Somewhere in my record collection, I still have the 45rpm disc of this song. Fell in love the first time I heard it in 1975. Side B, 'Love is Alive,' is also a great, magnificent lyrical journey.

this song always takes me back to driving through the NYC nights in 1975/76.

This is a song that will hit your heart strings. Then proceed to give you chills, and goosebumps. Then make you feel warm and relaxed. All within a 3 second window😂😂😂 One of those songs where you need a minute to regroup. Lol.

Wow, I really loved that reaction. I really did. And the thing is I heard this on the radio when I was a kid and he also had another huge hit on the radio at the time called Our Love Is On Fire. But having watched many of your actions, I hope you check out the band that he came out of, they were called Spooky Tooth and there is one album in particular that I think really shows off how good they all were and what an amazing vocalist he was even early on, and it's a hilarious concept it's a single album but it acts like a double album where you can fold it out and it has all this extra artwork in it, and a lot of cartoon like stuff and it's called You broke my heart so I busted your jaw. That's the name of it. But I would highly recommend for example this link below to one of the bigger songs on the album which is, Self-seeking Man. For something heavier and really heartfelt and pulls no punches with the lyrics at all, Cotton Growin' Man. The album is with this Anthem and it's called mariah, about the wind. And then all of these Gary Wright really shows you what he can do with that voice. 2 things about this song/video: 1) This song is on the Wayne's World movie soundtrack. 2) I've seen this video probably a dozen times but just noticed the back up singers are wearing robes (LOL makes total sense given the song name).
