Honestly 2nd gen idols actually go hard with the girl group choreos than 3rd and 4th gen. A lot of those boys SHOOK their hips.

This blows my mind... i dont know much about new groups including nee jeans but i was there since the beginning of Shinee, SuJu, GG..... i am only 26 😭

Kibum's love for Girl Group Choreography and not making light of it but respecting their hard work will always be one of my favorite things!

I really love how Key always know the details of the dance and do it seriously without acting all silly just because it is a girl group choreo. Key's born to perform for real.

Key is one of the only true aces of kpop. All fans love to call their faves aces, but in fact idols that *excel* in pretty much everything instead of being just decent in many things, are quite rare. *DANCE* Key would easily be the main dancer in so many groups, but since he's in the same group as Taemin who's literally the best dancer in kpop (my opinion, and opinion of many more, you don't have to agree but pls don't argue here lol) Key's dance skills don't get mentioned nearly as much as they should. *VOCALS* He's also a total beast when it comes to vocals. Once again he's in a group with Onew and Jonghyun, but in most groups he would be the main vocalist easily, he could literally out-sing so many main vocals out there. It's ridiculous that his and Taemin's position is sub vocalist given their skills, but SM vocals are just that level. *VARIETY* There are many idols out there who are funny - with their own group or in a certain setting. Fans of course find their own biases hilarious, even when non-fans would wonder what's so funny. But Key's truly suited for variety, he's among the few true variety-dols. His personality just suits variety so well, he's natural and funny to even non-fans. It's often easy to spot idols among variety shows, since they tend to be kinda awkward compared to comedians, but Key fits in his job as an entertainer just as well as an idol. *RAP* Honestly, Shinee has probably the weakest rap-line in SM, but that doesn't mean he or Minho are bad at it. (Minho is the main rapper, Key is lead.) They have the basics down and actually can rap well enough. There are cases when someone claims their idol can rap when they just have a few lines done poorly in karaoke as the reference, but Minho and Key do deliver the rap verses in Shinee's songs. *ACTING* Like many idols, Key has also done his fair share of acting. The thing is, idol acting gets criticized a lot - and for good reason. Many idols are really stiff and seem more like robots than any kind of natural. Awkwardness and lack of naturality are probably the biggest problems with idols when acting. There are few really great idol actors who've made a real career as actors, but most are just good for fan service. Now Key, he's not the best actor in my opinion, but as far as idols goes, he's definitely better than average. While not completely natural, he's a lot more expressive and lacks the stiffness most idols have when acting. He does a really good job in supporting roles.

I love this. I watched all the drama he was in and I think he is very natural and he could get better and better If he started to focus on acting. Other than that he is a fashion designer who often designs for SHINee concerts/comebacks and made a collection with the popular korean brand Charm's (that time he did a runway show during SW at the Tokyo dome was insane) Not many idols can say that.

Key is really a good actor, he went viral in his first role in a TV series and had endless praise when he made his theater debut (and I'm not talking about musicals, which he's always been good at, but a real play). And for that reason he still gets offers even though he put that career on hold to further his work in variety shows. Unfortunately the fact that he is good at many things has forced him to choose and therefore at the moment he favors a career in music and variety shows, otherwise we would have seen him in many projects, he has the connections and the praise to return to acting whenever he wants.

I want to know when the men learn all the gg and I guess bg choreo, too. I follow TXT and they tell us their packed calendar. It never includes schedules for watching and practicing choreo for fun, or for shows. Do they do it as part of their 4+ hr dance practice block, or while on break? They give us wake up time, meals, showers, everything, video game hours or anime watching before bed. One day, I’ll remember to ask “When do you fit in time to practice all the Not You choreo? “ Key gives me ‘Organized up the wazoo, while worried about it’ vibes, so I’m sure he’s covered. Maybe they have sneaky sneaky extra time but don’t want to admit it because it would be like saying they aren’t completely stressed.
