IT’S HERE! GENIUS 22K Hyundai IONIQ 2 EV!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Hyundai, the genius minds behind some seriously cool EVs, just confirmed their 22k EV- the Hyundai IONIQ 2, leaving all carmakers in shock and disbelief!
In 2023, the prices of gas cars went up by 5-10 percent, whereas the prices of EVs went down by 15 percent. Carmakers are trying to make EVs more accessible to the middle class. And Hyundai with their latest IONIQ 2 EV did just that!
Tesla is soon going to launch their Model 2, VW already has their ID2 ready, and General Motors too, is planning on relaunching the Bolt EV at a price below 25,000 dollars. Carmakers have finally realized what people actually want. An affordable EV with 300 mile range, without useless tech features that take the price up to 30-40-50 thousand dollars!
This car, coming at a groundbreaking price of 22000 dollars, is truly ahead of its time, and I’m gonna tell you how!

unless solar panel tech has come a LONG way in the past 5 months, there is no way you're getting 5KWH from parking in the sun for a day with that much space for panels..

Obviously, this is a hype video - no one is selling a car with that range for $20K; triple the price maybe, but not at $20K. Not a reputable channel.

Does not matter the lower price you may purchase an EV, Battery reissue or replacement, Rosie’s and insurance will kill you. That’s what happens when there is little to no foresight as to the real total cost.

Look at the on going data on EV cars battery degradation , batteries damage do to running over road debris, damage to the protective outer casing they would want to replace the batteries because there are unforeseen possible damage to the battery you can’t measure. So as a safety net they want them replaced. And guess who is not paying for it? The dealer and insurance. If they did it’s almost the cost of the car. There are quality control issues with batteries like catching fire. The infrastructure is still lagging to this day. But yet EV cars are still being pushed. If I ever did get a EV it would be a Hybrid. Damage costs, insurance costs ,Grid development behind. It’s just not worth it in most cases. Chinese EV are the worse. No EV is perfect just like no petrol car is perfect. but many are optimistic the way of the EV is the future and many say it’s here now. I think there will be a reversal and there are will be piles of abandoned EV in the future, We still have as way to go but at least I can admit there is progress being made

Pedro’s. Seems you selectively choose and ignore the facts. Ask any 10 real Tesla owners and get the real facts. Some insurance is more Tesla charging infrastructure makes charging easy and convenient over most of the country, if you charge at home most people almost never have to recharge anywhere except home and fires in battery vehicles are about 4 to 5 times less frequent by miles traveled then gas cars (those are the real facts)

@@pedroc6823 Well he is right. Doesn't matter if he is owner or not. Autoclub I am part of regularly tests cars and the current problem rates are not very high compared to classic cars. This is also easy to realize. EVs have much fewer moving parts. Most is stationary. Fewer points of failure. Granted the battery may degrade slowly unlike a car engine. Replacement costs are similar to a new car engine. Given the advancements in batteries I would say this is only a time question. It is slow. Very slow actually. Also depends on the type of battery. Combustion Engine already have a deadline in the EU. Simply because synthetic fuels are super expensive and exponentially more expensive than direct electric use. For climate reasons alone they will fail to be viable for normal people. As a matter of fact you can measure issues within the battery very accurately. There is the way how you deal with a shorts in landlines. You can calculate the issue location. I had to learn all that stuff... For the sake of the battery the more advanced they get the more sensors they have to detect issues and regulate with cooling zones. It is much simpler than to deal with moving parts. About now every new EV has battery climate management. But the repair processes are very infant state so usually only cells are recycled on a damaged battery rather than fixing the circuit. People need proper training for that. It is similar if road debris would damage your engine in terms of cost. Now for Chinese Vehicles I totally agree. But they also have a approach with solid batteries rather than rechargeable ones. And they do weird stuff all the time. There you can get EVs that stop working if the manufacturer goes under. Also there is a video "Place to Place" about EV landfills in China. Hyundai sells in the EU and also was part of Hydrogen Projects which no German Carmaker wanted to deal with. So they are the reason there are Hydrogen Trucks active today in a few countries inside Europe since many years. That said they are fully liable here. I would say it lends them quite the credibility to try new stuff. About Teslas I think it is a closed ecosystem I would not want to participate in. They have issues with the body parts of the cars rather then EV stuff. Also they tend do some really shady stuff sometimes. Like building a production in Germany without finished authorization. They just started. Very illegal mind you. Let alone how they deal with employees. No perfect world. And I also saw how Hyundai fell flat on their face in the recent 60k battery replacement drama thing. Which turned out to be that the dealers quoted those prices and Hyundai is now dealing with replacements directly.
