I'll never not love Carson McKee + John Prine.

I'm usually pretty lukewarm about John Prine covers but this is lovely.

You've got that John Prine "it's just a bit of conversation - but in a song" approach down nicely. Well done.

@@1man1guitarletsgo Lucky enough to have gone to high school with John - his way of speaking, singing and writing were all parts of a whole. We all sure liked him back in the day. And then later too of course. ;-)

I actually click Like before the song even starts because I know from experience that it will be great! And, again, I was right :) ! Thank you, Carson.

Call me crazy but you could make a killing touring as a John Prine tribute. Someone needs to do that to keep his works alive and you seem like the perfect one to carry that torch.

I was relieved, and that was *after* I mono’d the stereo recording by basically processing out the “side” mic of the mid-side configuration, which was the capsule receiving the brunt of the wind. Still held up!!
