I'm gonna marry my Timber and raise a bunch of Timblets!!😆I crashed it so many times and it's still going... it doesn't care... such a capable and durable airplane. By the way incredible flying!! everyone on youtube fly this plane in boring circles... but you, your flying is something else. I love it! same for Tail Heavy Production.

Just ordered the new Turbo Timber EVO! It will be my second plane after the Apprentice STS and I can’t wait! Of course I ordered the 13x4 prop kit and now I will be ordering the Timber X steel shaft. Great video! Love your Timber content! I appreciate you taking the time to do this work, it really means a lot.

Yeah, kinda had to! Our buddy Ciarán gave us a spare set of wings which were for the old blue Timber, so the decals had to be reversed because they didn't have red wingtips haha

Just picked one of these up. The programming video was excellent! This video makes me want to fly it even more...of course in fria zones....😶

The TTE is my favorite bushy STOL plane due to my lack of talent in the programing department. I have come up with my own durable gear mod using the parts provided with the float's. Now I snap a axels instead of springs. Your flying skills are wicked good. Thanks for your channel and it's content. Cheers

​@@ficosk8 The gear on the original caused so many prop strikes. We went through three propellers filming it flying in the same locations as Timber. Timber never broke a single prop, but the Fun Cub chewed through them.

My Favorite too!

The Timber really is an epic plane, so versatile. It has some major flaws though. E.g. engine mount, undercarriage..

Been following your channel for a long time and I've watched every single of your videos about this plane, especially love to watch the way you fly this turbotimber evo in 3d. Unfortunately, the country I am from just do not have this plane, they do not sell it here. Any other bush plane you recommend that is capable of flying similar to this one?

Thanks so much! It's really a unique airframe, doesn't fly like much anything else out there, but the closest you might get is the FMS Maule.

It was definitely easier to fly there, but Timber handled the terrain way better.

This was awesome! I guess I'll wait for the updated version. Do you think they will come out with an updated Timber X 1.2M? Evo version? lol

Did you have to cutt the servos loose from the glue in the fuselage when replacing them? What glue did you use to attach the upgraded servos in the fuselage?

You do need to cut them loose as gently as you can. We used FoamTac to secure the new servos.

Those white wing tips really throw me off lol is that a replacement wing?

Yeah, from the blue Timber. The wingtips aren't red so we had to reverse the decals for it to work.

How does this compare to the FMS Maule 1.5 ? Thinking about getting the maule as first plane any suggestions sir ?

@@TwoBrosRC it flys good after you replace all the factory servos. And v had it a while. So it took a while to get landing gear sorted out. Parts were on back order for a year it seemed like. And the factory gear was weak. It’s way better now that Iv sorted it out. But I had trouble with stock receiver as well. It would go into To safe mode after I got inverted. And would not roll back right side up.

Oh BTW Jon will you be any newer videos on your UMX's Waco Bipe,Turbo Timber Evolution&Timber X now since the warmer weather is here hopefully that means the winds should be calming down some??

There's not really a whole lot to cover with UMX models. They all have identical servos and fly really similarly - hence why there's not much of a point to going back to them again for us. Sorry about that!

Yes, the new gear is tougher, lighter, and doesn't require modifying the plane or any of its components.
