Bruce passed away in 2021 and earlier this year Jean passed. They were amazing people who truly cared about others. Bruce and Jean were incredibly kind and would help anyone who needed it. I have been in the Arc II, and although it truly is an amazing feat for a family to accomplish, mold was an issue at that time. (This may have been resolved.) Of course mold can be just as deadly, but regardless, the accomplishment of building this shelter will be something many of us in southern Ontario will always remember. Bahia and her family have much to be proud of.

@@LiLBitsDK Bruce passed away due to a heart attack. Not only was he well on in age, he has endured a lot of stress. For example - the local fire department officials were always on his case for a variety of reasons - primarily because the doors did not open to the outside (from the inside) - from inside they opened inward. The fire department said this violated code - as if this matters in a shift event? They opened inside for a good reason - - - how do you push open the doors if there is a mob out there? Jean was well into her late 80's I believed and I think she passed in her sleep.

Meh….for CENTURIES people have been crowing about the end. This is just the modern day, media and boobtoob driven version of a guy in the sandwich sign in Times Square “warning” us all. Only these guys spend their time and money to prep for the “end” they will not see. Heck, they start the thing with a guy WASTING 50 years of his life preparing for the end. Is there not a better, more positive and productive way to spend ones life and existence? What a sad existence all these folks have. Preparing for disruption is one thing. I hire a youngster for a dollar or so to help. I feel that I am helping the youngster as much as they are helping me. Can you get some 5 gallon buckets, dirt, and maybe grow lights? A little bit may be a lot!

Exactly! Even someone living on limited income should over time try to stock up enough water, food and medicine and any necessities to last for at least 6 months. Shops for sales and discounts when possible and shop second hand.

In order for the U.S to have the same Cold War strength it use to have to attack strongely or deter enemy attacks it needs uranium, we closed 90% of our uranium pits up, it'll take almost 100 years to bring those same amount of uranium pits to full speed to build the same nuclear attack force we use to have. Russia and China have developed super sonic missiles, their technology is far ahead of the U.S's own missile technology, they have the advantage over us. Tomorrow nuclear armagadden can happen, and we'd be on the losing end.

One of the best moments in this documentary is Jeremy and his wife actually ROLE PLAYING what they would do in a disaster. Muscle and behavior memory is everything. You will not do what you are not used to doing. It is SO important to ACTUALLY GO THROUGH THE MOTIONS of how you'd move in these circumstances. Just like the fire drill in school...the practice is the perfection.

The closest prepper in this series was bradford from San Diego. Even though COVID was the end of the road for many, it wasnt as bad as for what he had planned for. Many who called the mask mandate agree that he was way off too.

As far as the grandpa of the ark. Bruce has it going on. His children need to continue his legacy. If I only had more quality time with my own grandfather , I would have done things differently now that I'm 53. With what we had at our disposal.

If Nuclear War comes, and I think it will, those who survive the holocaust, will have only a brief respite. There is only about enough food stored throughout the world, to last 78 days. After that, you starve. Radiation kills animals and plants. Water will be poisoned. Within three years, the world the world will be dead. Best too go quick, I think.

my guess if there was ever a nuclear catastrophe that affected them in this rural area that means the major cities of the world have been wiped out. which means nuclear fallout is everywhere and its just a matter of time before they all die off inside their bunker.. so they may survive a few months or less but cancer and starvation will always be waiting for them outside..

@@heyyall9378 I live in the city, my neighbors are not really friendly so there is that and in small towns, most people are naturally preppers and they tend to help each other...at least in the small town I come from.

A lot of extremely knowledgeable and capable preppers actually have multiple locations that are never shared with the producers. And yes, generally I'd agree with you. If you don't keep your information close to the vest you are setting yourself up to get robbed or worse.

Dr Bradford Franks family should apologise to him and thank him for protecting them. Also, thanks for him for spreading awareness to his friends and viewers. This must have been very helpful for those who knew him and watched these show prior to COVID.

Jeremy & His wife should create 2 lists that are exactly the same... With 1 on the doors of the truck... & one inside the house that's on a clipboard hung on the wall easy to grab. This way they can go through the list, double check & mark off the items they have... The clipboard is to make sure it's gathered... The list on the doors of the truck is to make sure they are loaded into the truck.

There is nothing wrong with being prepared for anything these are smart people

So, the kids will go into the bunker without their parents? What could possibly go wrong!?

Incredible family unit. Goes to show the true value of what was a great upbringing of what once was a sense of community across Southern Ontario

It’s ridiculous that someone like the Cambodian women think it’s crazy to prepare for disaster. Why would you want to resort to stealing food and eating bugs you find in the wild instead of eating the food you enjoy now. She was the only person in her family to survive that tragedy. People get too comfortable living in a 1st world country.

I'd love to hear from that psychiatrist's family. Did he go in full isolation for Corona? Did this pandemic open his wife's and daughter's eyes to the reality of the viral threat? This one's not over yet, and even though it's not as acute as other viruses, it's extremely virulent and has killed millions to date. I wonder if his wife is still acting up like that when having to wear a mask... At the time of the documentary, many people probably would have related to her reaction, but today everybody knows it was a ridiculous one.

@@wmluna381 you have a point. He sure could have put a little effort in the cave "decoration" to make it look like a safe room, not an empty cave... With a viral outbreak, you're going to stay indoors, locked down, as we all know, so it should be comfy, cozy even, and with lots of things to do. That's also something he should've known as a psychiatrist: cabin fever is a real thing.

I just think the first couple is so sweet considering their community and even the ones they know they can’t fit in. Wow. Most of these other people just stock like crazy with only themselves in mind. Golden Grandparents

I would suggest an awning on both sides for your truck use to increase outside cover space. Also add push bikes as they are quiet good for finding food and transporting supplies .

I tell ya what...it's always better to *HAVE it & NOT NEED it than to NEED it & NOT HAVE it* 🤨 All of the ppl who thought these ppl are "weird or crazy" are going to be the 1s scratching outside the door begging to be let in and/or begging for food/supplies😏 But hopefully everythingthat happened in 2020 really gave most ppl a different outlook on their futures. Covid & the unbelievable high gas prices are are just a TINY, TINY BIT of what it really can be like for ANY country on Earth.

I like what you have said. I do not think that these preppers are crazy or weird because the outbreak of Covid has proved that one should sometimes expect the worst thing may happen and prepare for it both psychologically and physically. It is better to have it and not need it 🤨

When a truck like that gets stuck or breaks down your essentially camping out with your family and all your supplies at somewhere you didn't choose to camp. He doesn't have the same assets that the army motor pool had like mechanic and tow truck

Fair, and to be honest, we didn't actually buy it for prepping, that's just a bonus, we bought it as a prop rental for movies and TV shows, it's been in several already.

Real doomsday preppies would never show anyone one beyond. Their circle what they are doing and where they are doing it. Your number one issue is other people knowing what you have been doing. It makes you a target.

This is a valid argument. We worried about OPSEC before appearing on the show. But we live in Utah, nearly EVERYONE preps, by comparison to most, even many in our neighborhood, we are under-prepped.

I rather be dead than trying to stay alive and suffer. 😭

The first guy wasn't wrong. Nuclear war is at our front door today, and we're currently in one of the worst pandemics ever.

Bruce and Jeane are two of the most selfless people iv seen. You have individuals who would sacrifice their time, energy, clothing, food and money. Even in their old age they still made the effort to help humanity. I pray they that they are invited into Heaven along with their children and grandkids. Ameen.

The fact that it can run on waste oil (dirt cheap) instead of gas means it has paid for itself! No running to AutoZone for parts, though!

I knew what it was like growing up with a parent that was different she was extremely intuitive and she said all this was going to happen and my adult years well I'm 63 and it looks like it's going to be going down. Exactly the way she said from country to Country like dominoes the banks in the gasoline in the oil and the last floor and it's all there and we're right about to face it. I wish I would have listened to her my mom died at 58 unfortunately but I'd love to see family set I like my my family although they're all gone now I feel like the last loner left. Words of advice from my mom if only I had taken them when I was 14

We had a survivalist training meetup on Bruce's property and we got to tour his shelter the Ark 2. Bruce and Jean are amazing people. Unfortunately it is no longer able to be toured due to safety reasons but what an awesome experience it was!

thank, you for you're video. my blessing is I live in a all law enforcement neighborhood and we, all are close and help each other in the rural.

Its funny. Everything in these shows are happening all at once. Never saw that coming. Always saw them as their own separate event

I hope they have kept this up! (With seeing people saying he passed away) Grandpa put a lot of time and money into doing this. Some of y'all will laugh but you never know with the direction things are going these days!!

These women don't know what a blessing it is to have a hubby who understands crisis and does his best to prepare. Trying to get my family to stock up on the most BASIC things is an everyday Hades. They just DONT.BELIEVE.ANYTHING. A community of people who believe in preparation is a dream, a real blessing.
