Oh dear! Now I’ll have to search for another, calendar focused site, with druids. Hey! Maybe one of the teams in new KT edition will be Space Druids that manipulate the juxtapositions of planets , moons and stars to affect the positions of their operatives on the map to achieve massive forward deployments and objective control?

I have unassembled Legionaries and I think I'll combine/kitbash both teams to also make the Legionaries Night Lords themed. Hopefully there's enough bits that I don't have to add something like the NL Forgeworld heads. Thankfully some operatives are shared between both teams like the gunners.

Hope you had a great Easter! I think this box is the pick of the season myself. But the great thing about Kill Team is you don't have to buy everything to keep up.

The rules that have been revealed in the Warhammer+ batrep for the Nightmare teams look very interesting. Hopefully you’re right, and the rules show up in White Dwarf as the Salvation teams did. The new teams don’t appeal too much, but I’d like to proxy them just to see how the sneaky shadow rules perform. The Warcry box is a pass as well. I like the Bloodbowl Gnomes, but I don’t play Bloodbowl so I’m trying to think of a reason to buy them. Really focused on The Old World at the moment, so that may be distracting me from the skirmish games.

I think it's often a mistake to buy models you don't like because you like the rules, rules can change! So possibly best sticking with what you have.

I can't see the next edition of Kill Team being released in August, particularly since they are implying that the new edition of Age of Sigma is being released this Summer. I would say it would be coming in the Autumn.

But in 2021 AoS 3, Dominion came out on July 3rd , and Kill Team Octarius came out on August 28th. Why would this go around be dramatically different?

@@TabletopImpulse With Nightmare going up for pre-order on 6th April, it will be released on 20th April. If the next edition is coming out in August, it will likely be revealed in July. That means Termination will be have to be released in May or June. That is too soon after Nightmare. They also have to fit Chaos Space Marines (which I suspect is when we'll get the separate releases for Nightmare), Adeptus Custodes, Genestealer Cults, Adeptus Soroitas and Imperial Agents (as the mystery army) as outlined in the roadmap. An Autumn release allows for Termination to be released in July, three months after Nightmare which is being released three months after Salvation.

well to be fair, the tau did get a kroot box for 40k. maybe some mixup there

Not a fan of any of the teams in Nightmare so it'll be a pass for me but very happy that it will be on pre-order because that means termination is closer to launch! Votann with long jackets and brood brothers definitely tickles my fancy, I'll get that box for sure!
