I know as a former model it is easy for me to say but I am also getting to an age I see my body and face growing older and could want it, well I don't ! People need to value their health ! So do those people with Type 1 diabetes about their insulin. Gender dysphoria is still a serious illness even if it is a mental one. If taking hormones makes the people with it feel better than I don't think we should stop them if they are over the age of consent (which Jessica is). It doesn't matter what other people think, the PATIENT feels better and Jessica is using the hormones under a doctors supervision.

I`ve heard there is only one team of surgeons who regularly do `bottom surgery` in the UK. There`s very little demand for it. Because the UK hasn`t really fallen for plastic surgery in a big way, we haven`t developed the US level of gender reassignment surgery. They have things like `nullification`; for patients who want the appearance of no genitals at all, and a scientist was caught asking the question why should male genitals look as they are...why can`t they look like flowers?

I didn’t find puberty an ‘anxious time’ because nobody thought it was. Nobody said it was. Not one of my school friends siblings or their friends thought it was an anxious time. Social contagion, twisted adults, malpracticing medical professionals and mermaids/stonewall have created this mess. We need to save these kids

I am a postoperative transsexual woman as well and yes, Trans medicine is very experimental. Yes it can be dangerous at times. This is why I feel children should not be allowed to transition.

Freak show!

As a former psychiatric nurse, life throws enough at us. If we accept that nature is nature: a boy has chromosomes XY and female XX (a few anomalies due physical & genetic) If an adult wants to transition BE IT AT THEIR EXPENSE for surgery & continued medication that is entirely their choice. But this should NEVER NEVER be acceptable in any shape or form on a child, ie under 18. The idea of better success the younger 'treatments'' start, a XY (male) will never menstruate or have a child. Why would a MAN think that wining in sport is an achievement - it's an embarrassment! when it obviously by his build and size he isn't a woman. Trying to make the abnormal acceptable, doesn't make it normal. This is a time bomb ticking away in people who will feel cheated out of a their potential life, seeking compensation for their physical and mental pain.
