I was waiting for you to review this laptop a few weeks ago. Ended up buying it anyways. Amazing. Really happy with it coming from my intel i7 4th gen😅 also includes 3 months of game pass for free. Been running Lies of P in high on a widescreen monitor with no issues at all. Also, ports on the back are the best thing ever.

A few months back I went from a msi ge62 I think was the model name. It had a 1060 and a i7 I think 7th or 8th gen and now I'm using an rog strix system with a i7-12700f and a 3060. Sadly couldn't build my own because of financial reasons but I finally upgraded the cpu cooler after upgrading my ram from 2x8 3200 to 16x2 3200 and added a second ssd. Those oem stock coolers need to be beaten with a bamboo stick man. I went from 80°c during most games (fortnite, the finals, battlebit and basically every game I played except for sea of stars) to a nice 50°c peaking at like 60°c with a hyper212. The best decision I ever made after failing to try to mount an aio in the strix case.

Yup for under 1k this is a solid pick,and bonus it looks badass love it.

can get Asus Tuf FX507ZI-F15.I74070 RTX 4070 laptop from bestbuy for under $1000. This is normal price for RTX 4060 laptop.

I have the next version up. legion pro 5 32gb 5400 mhz. ryzen 7 7745hx and a rtx 4070 with a 1600p 16:10 165 hz screen 300 nits. soo happy with this laptop. probably the best I've ever had. there's really nothing wrong at all with this laptop I found. I usually have some sort of con with one but these new legion laptops are amazing

Only problems with any legit gaming laptop is you pretty much need to put it on your desk, on top of a really high cfm laptop cooler, then plug a mouse and keyboard in along with a monitor.

You don't actually need all of that, except the mouse. The cooler is not needed if you have mid range gear and understand how to tune performance. The monitor and keyboard aren't needed since your laptop come with both, so then it would only be a matter of you having more distinguished tastes than what the laptop can offer.

I'm working in South Korea and HP usually has a deal. It was around $800 for Victus 15 with i5 12500H and RTX 4060. I missed the deal and now you can only get rtx 4050, 4060 45w, or rtx 2050 at that price. Awful time.
