I’m sooo glad you’re doing better and found a medication that is (sort of, mostly) working. You look gorgeous and it’s so nice to see you on KZread. It breaks my heart that you’ve been going THROUGH IT but I loved the good news at the end 🥰 we just got our first Crestie the other day! Can’t wait to purchase supplies and/or a new baby from you guys in the future. Sending you both love!

Both my parents had COVID because they're both in medicine. My anxiety was through the roof when I heard my mom was intubated. Both my parents are better now. Everyone in my nuclear family is vaccinated as well. I agree with you..I also want to go back to the normal where you post animal videos and stuff. For now, I can only hope you keep getting better and better.

Hey, Maddie. Just finding your channel bc I was interested in tarantulas and stumbled upon Tyler's channel.. which led me to you! I just felt compelled to say YOU ARE AWESOME. Huge respect for coming on here and opening up about everything you've been going through this past year and a half. I can relate to a lot of the things you talked about (except for POTS - it sounds so incredibly debilitating and I am so sorry you've had to struggle with it) and I just wanted to commend you strength. I know how hard it is and I'm so glad you've been able to find doctors who have helped you. Again you rock and you're an inspiration and just seem like a super cool person :) Know that no matter how you feel about yourself random strangers on the internet love to see your face and hear what you have to say because you're THAT COOL. Much love and hope you continue to feel better 💕

I totally get the OCD stuff - fellow sufferer - it's so hard and awkward to explain to people. I often explain my OCD that it's like having a magic button that you have no idea if it actually works and it probably doesn't but if it does it will protect the ones you love - so you press it incase. I'm glad you're coming through the other side of your tunnel, you definitely deserve some good times now 💙

Do you have any recommendations for crested gecko groups for someone who is just getting started with breeding? Like...in the stage of growing out potential breeders starting lol so way early on, not planning on any pairings until at least next year. The group I'm in now is lovely but not friendly to people just starting out, every time someone posts about their potential pairings there's a slew of non constructive criticism and I feel like I don't actually learn anything. I can definitely identify good structure and know about coloration and patterns but it just doesn't feel newbie friendly lol. So glad you're back! And glad you've been doing better :)

WMGW (what’s my gecko worth) and crested gecko pairing discussion and help group seem to be the most helpful! Best of luck and I hope you have an awesome time breeding!

I don’t think you’re going to see this but I just now found it and want to tell you that I can totally relate with the mental health issues you’ve facing. I am a lot older than you are and there wasn’t enough knowledge out there to address the issues at the time I needed help the most. I have ADHD, anxiety and panic disorder, PTSD, fibromyalgia and a currently undiagnosed neurological disorder that has just started which leaves me pretty much out of commission. I’ve also had two cardiac arrest and a myocardial infarction. Personally I’ve never had Covid but a very close family member did have it and I almost lost her. I’ve been okay, I have been hospitalized twice for ocd, but that’s okay because I have learned a lot and am in remission!! It took a lot but I’m here and I no longer think of it as this mental disorder that runs my life and more of as this little thing that comes up every once and a while to bother me. Ahh it feels so lovely to talk about it as I don’t feel comfortable talking about it in person. I hope you and anyother ocd strugglers a good recovery Also ask your physician about getting a medication genetic test that’s how I got on an obscure ocd led that changed my life and practically cured me. I hope you are well :)

I have to drink an ungodly amounts of water and keep up with electrolytes as they get depleted with the water intake. I also have to watch some foods I eat. With diet and fluids I've gotten a lot better but I still have it. Other symptoms are palpitations, low blood pressure, dizziness, presyncoppe etc. It wasn't due to covid just dumb luck. I don't have to be on meds thankfully. But if my blood pressure keeps dropping then I will be after I have my baby.

I know your comment is 7 months old but this shows that even when you think you are right (calling out anti covid vaxxers) you dont always stay right long term.. now that the vaccine makers said oopps the vaccine doesnt really work recently it shows how incredibly political our society is and we even willing to hate our own family or friends in orders to "be right" about this vaccine.. When it all comes down we have to realize the lady who called out Dr Fauci as a fraud at the very beginning of covid and tried to tell the world that he was investing our tax money into Wuhan china to develop corronviruses and he had this insanely evil history when she worked for him for a long time and our media silenced her and told the world she lost her mind and was nutts and the govt basically physically had agents going to her home and yeah now we know she was 100% right and the vaccines didnt work so now we need to understand if they put something into everyone for other reasons or what.. btw I am not anti vax I did not get the covid vax because I have bad health issues similar to POTS actually in some ways called pericarditis which the covid vaccine ended up giving mostly younger 15-30 year olds pericarditis which can be life altering and deadly.. I got to meet a father whos 16 year old boy died 3 weeks after the vaccine from pericarditis complications and he got the vaccine because the media/biden told him directly it was SAFE and the way to save lives and now their kid is gone.. My 60 year old aunt who never missed a day of work in 35 years and no one ever knew of her being sick with even the flu ever dropped dead on her floor two days after getting the vaccine because she wanted to be safe and able to hold/meet my sisters first baby girl that was just born like 8 weeks prior..and unfortunately I had a co-worker send an email on a friday in June 2021 saying he was leaving early to go get his vaccine so he could be safe in order to visit with his elderly grandmother at an upcoming family event and its now March 2022 and he never made it back to work and our employer is a large company who publically pushed for everyone to get the shot and they are hiding the fact that he spent 5 months in the ICU after getting the vax and from what his wife told our manager he doesnt even know who he is or anything and he is paralyzed from the chest down and basically trapped alive in a dead body and he was a perfectly healthy former college athlete and only 37.. we also had two others that we know about pass away from the vaccine at this company which is big about 50k employees but still.. I have read countless other messages from people who got very sick or had a family member pass from this vaccine which in the end never actually was able to prevent covid so they lost their lives because people thought it was right to repeat what govt and media officials pushed onto us about it beiing safe and effective when it normally takes 15-25 years to test properly to understand that they decided to lie to us thinking it would save lives but covid just spread worse.. I just hope everyone who believed they were "right" pushing this narrative can hear a few true stories about how this vaccine was a death sentence for so many and now we are also hearing about how many have POTS and other rare conditions months down the road.. Also, I got was ambushed by an asshole who married into my family and came to my house while sick with covid (says he didnt know) and gave me delta in which I nearly died in December and the doctor I had saved my life by acting quickly and he told me that almost everyone who got it bad like me passed away if they were vaccinated but about 10 people who werent like me reacted 100% better to Remdesivir and recovered within 7 days... a really good high school friend of mine was two rooms down from me but i didnt know at the time and he got the vax and passed away he didnt respond to the meds at all.. so it just goes to say the shit were told is not always true and even if only 15% have this problem its not right to push this as safe and efffective.. it takes years to study the effects of what we put in our bodies like vaccines.. hell we dontr know what will happen to the babies who were not born yet and their parents got the shot.. what if they all or part of them have really bad issues come 5 or 10 years old.. its not right.. people need choice.

The same thing happened to me, I would feel super dizzy, I couldn’t walk straight and my knees would bend and joint would crack. I was diagnosed with POTS as well, started to see many doctors but no one was able to offer anything sustainable long term or a solution. Doctors told me I couldn’t drink coffee again, I was told running would be super hard. We tried a alternative medicine doctor here in Chicago and she has been treating me for almost a year now and the improvements have been insane

I got POTS the exact same way. The only thing that helped was when I got my second vaccine. It was like a cloud clearing in the sky. Absolutely crazy. I still have POTS but nowhere NEAR as bad. I really hope it helps you too. POTS is awful.

Okay but you describing the ocd stuff now has me wondering because I also do those things like the hand washing after touching anything and thinking something happened to my boyfriend if he hasn't sent me a text in a while.... 😬😬😬 I don't think it's severe enough that I have what you do but I know I have unregulated anxiety so that's probably the cause of my behaviors rather than ocd... But I gonna keep that in mind if it ever gets worse.
