Despite Man United being more successful and the emergence of a very strong Barca side, Ronaldo was ready to take the challenge and joined Real Madrid and the rest is history.

Idc that he stayed in PSG, and I don't really believe the story that it was his dream to play at Madrid either now. Even though this pains me as a Real fan, this only hurts Madrid's ego. Mbappe would have played LW and no matter what Ancelloti says, it would have hurt Vini. Also we need to improve the squad, Modric has done miracles but both him and Kroos will decline next year, Carvahal too. Kimmich or Salah would probably improve Real as a whole more in the coming 3-4 season, and they would probably cost the same as Mbappe combined, which is absolutely crazy. It will be very interesting to see what Madrids budget will be this window, they offered Mbappe 200m last year, and now Bale, Marcelo and Isco will lower the wage bill.

Neymar is LW, Messi probably fits best centrally at this age, and Icardi could play striker, the best position for Mbappe in PSG for the other players would probably be RW but he plays as striker on paper but really LW/Striker like Ronaldo and Son. So that can make Mbappe go from a RW position to a more ST role same how Liverpool and Man City using the wingers as goalscorers. But honestly if we look at this team and their tactics. The contract being only three seasons in length makes me think that Mbappe believes he can do this all over again in a few years time, just like Griezmann did with his pathetic TV shows, but he doesn't seem to realise that his ship has sailed and his dream move will NEVER happen now because of how poorly he approached negotiations here and how little trust there is left for him now! I think this will have far reaching consequences for his career actually because it won't be just Madrid that will have taken note of this and others will be wary of doing business with him in the future knowing what he has done!

Honestly I think Madrid are fine with the way Vinicius and Rodrygo have developed. That money that was going to be used on Mbappe, can now be used to strengthen other positions instead. Madrid can still get a strong squad, so not too worried about Madrids future.

He’s getting all this hate because he used Madrid to get a better contract. He literally involved Madrid into this just to deny them last minute after agreeing with them that he will join. The hate he’s getting is all caused by himself, he made a club believe he would join them and last minute changed his mind leaving Madrid empty handed whereas they could’ve secured the signing of other great players including Haaland. How could u paid that much money on one single player and expect the other players to put in the same effort, on normal match it easy win but when the pressure is on why should they put in extra effort when they earn way less money

I think the financial package at Madrid wasnt even close,to that being offerred by Psg.

true, the problem with competing against PSG is they will give him 200, 300 or 400 million in an account in a tax haven, and this is all outside of the signing bonus and his contract. It's the bad thing about competing against a country, you can easily jump the limit

Marseille is the only French club to have won the Champions League in 1993. And it was under scandalous circumstances with match fixing. The Portuguese and Dutch leagues are in my view above League 1.

Basically... everything that Psg does using his name will result in him getting paid

Here is the thing , he's only 23 , so I'm confident he will play for another club eventually , rather that is Real Madrid or a club in the premiership so it's a future possibility, especially if he fails to capture the champions league trophy in the next three years. He's just entering his prime from 23 to 33 he's going to play his best football as long as he avoids injuries. So I do see him playing for a different team but not right now and I think champions league football is more entertaining when the superstars represent different leagues , more parity and competitiveness.

Mbappe is just like henry, he relies on pace to score. His decline will come a lot sooner than the messi ronaldo standards when his legs cant keep up with his technique anymore. Probably around 29-30.

Early 30s across all sports that require athleticism is where the decline begins for people with pace.

Nope. It wasn’t money . It isn’t that hard to understand. he’ll probably join Madrid or another club when his contract expires. That’s why he only signed 3 years. Mbappe wants to bring the champions home and be the king. PSG winning their first champions league with Mbappe as their leader . That some heroic stuff .
