This is the Extended Dance Mix of 'It's Alright' by Pet Shop Boys which was the B-Side on the limited edition 10" Alternatives EP, released in 1989.

I've always LOVED the additional lyrics that were only included in the 10" version of this song - "There's a boy standing by a river, There's a girl lying with her lover, There's a statesman standing at a crossroads, There's a soldier polishing his gun"...

just bought this on ebay. love the mix. quite similar to the "demo" version on the reissue of introspective. I bought the original 12 inch vinyl and the dj international mixes in 89. super stuff from a great era.

I've watched every episode of strangers with candy and have loved PSB It's Alright since it came out and would have recognized it. Strangers had some good dance music a couple of times at the end of episode. Did I miss it? Don't see how but anything is possible. PSB's are Masters of the Universe - well, except for God

You're spot on. I'm pretty sure there are at least 3 other mixes on the 10" I have. (I can't remember if there's a dub version though. It wasn't the most played record I have...)
