I've always been a huge fan of the Pet Shop Boys since first hearing West End Girls in the autumn of 1985.
After that I bought every 7" and 12" (and imports) the day they were released (usually skipping school to do so!).
I'm not so obsessive these days. From the mid nineties onwards I didn't bother with singles any more, I just bought the albums. But I've still got my big box of vinyl and it's pure gold my friends...
So this is a small selection of some of the classic tracks by the Pet Shop Boys that I've managed to collect over the years. They aren't necessarily their best songs (some are - some aren't) - I'm just uploading the stuff that was commercially released but doesn't already have 100 other videos on KZread.
If anybody wants any particular version or mix of a track that I have, just let me know and I'll upload it onto this channel.
Enjoy.

I’ve been a huge fan of the boys since 1985. Thought I had heard all their songs and mixes. How did I miss this amazing mix. How was this made available?
Best of the pet shop boys....fucking hot version..Niel Tennant what a voice
❤2024❤

I ❤Don Juan song. Really Don Juan was my funny uncle from Austria. 😊
As youngsters we would Caravan at St Osyths Clacton, 6 of us in one of my dad's tourers. One of the guys had a ghetto blaster and we had a mixture of dance tapes, one of the various artist casettes had this version on it, we played it to death, this was before PSB's were even a thing. Who knew eh? oh yer I'm now in my late fifties 😞
2024. This song takes me back to 1987. Easily the best of times. Music, crowd, fashion and fun were inseparable. No pretensions. Just good times.
Esta versión se dio a conocer en Cdmx a finales de los 80's, un ritmo ajustado al high energy qué se bailaba en ese entonces. Algo fenomenal, adorable.
TRUE LONDON 80s TUNE BIG UP PET SHOP BOYS REAL FLAVOUR ❤
These were the days,&Nights ❤🎉
This has always been the best version, with a little twist blending the dub version on it nicely done. I remembered how we did back in the with vinyls and 3 head tape mastering recorders two thumbs up. It gave those goosebumps and set me back into my little studio, mixing just before all the newest software tools and looping ones came out to literally simplify everything
For me thos song just sums up the 1980s
The 85 version is so much better.
This is the version I remember dancing to in 1984/85. Always love PSB, but the 1985 re-release pales to this.
I also like this version.
Now I listen to Hot Since 82 a Dj from the U.K. I listen to all his live mixes from Ibiza, Croatia, and the best one live at the Lagoon in Argentina on KZread. He was at Coachella last year.

The production on this is woeful.
Agree that this tempo is best for dancing, but I guess I still prefer the slower version. More mystery and buildup... maybe even a touch of sadness or menace. Thanks for posting, though. They're both worth listening to.
God I miss the 80s! Wish there was some way to go back and live in that slice of time forever.
A very good eighties song .
What a tune from the fantastic duo ❤❤❤
Played in Moonlighting, episode Sleep Talking Guy.
Was this original version released on an official CD?
It wasn’t released on CD at the time as it was 1984, but it’s probably available on some CD compilation somewhere.
@@soundoftheatom Thank you. I can’t find it on any compilation.
I want one!!!
I love this mix!!!!!
Yes with 808 cowbell .
Such a simple song but a great hook love it and the sounds
Produced by Bobby ("I gotta have more cowbell!") Orlando.
Great song - you must be mad - you must be careful Jack.
They did a good job with the later version but this has most of the elements
Iconic✨⚡️
A masterpiece of dancesynth from Bobby Orlando which brought them closer to the stars 18 months later in 1985 but I do love this version very much. It's so filled with beatiful sound riffs and wonderful emotionel takes all through the song ❤👌🤗🙏🎶 love from Denmark in copenhagen 🇩🇰🙏
Amazing mix!!!
This has a feel and character all of its own! Completely independent of the mainstream version. Absolutely brilliant!
Inspiring, so cool, so artificially great.
DJ Avery played this when it came out, at the Domino Klub, Toronto’s only punk club
Stupenda questa versione estesa
Awesome 2024.
