Serenity Editors cut out the fans screaming a lot of times because it distracts from the actual singing. I don’t know if that’s the case here, but this happens a lot in videos.

I can see where people may think this is being lip synced. The vocals are super clear and pristine and she doesn't allow her voice to resonate naturally. The camera action also adds more of a "music video" effect to it so it looks even less convincing. However, I'm certain she is truly singing live. Regardless, we all know Celine had one of the best voices of all time. It's 20 years later. It would make total sense if she couldn't sing as well as she used to.

This is so true, this is so filtered but she sang live. Also if they reproduced it to look and sound HQ it lost some if its natural essence that filtering can take out. Clearly the live reverb and ambient nose missing too

+Rob It was filmed on multiple nights, thats why it might seems a little music video-like (and they used the best samples), and the sound was filtered for the DVD release, which this video is part of. It was not a necessary thing to do, but I believe they wanted to make justice to this big and amazing production, and wanted to songs to sound as pure as possible, while being 100% live.

She is not only the greatest singer, but also the greatest performer in this world. Celine Dion is a legend.

This song is very much NOT his. The author of the song turned him down twice because he wanted Céline to sing it. Meatloaf did a cover. Céline recorded this in 1996 for her Falling Into You album.

The author - his longtime musical partner - sued him to prevent him recording the song (because it was a "woman" song) but he gave it over in time and a far superior version resulted. Nine Inch Nails first recorded "Hurt" but they all conceded that it was Johnny Cash's song - because his was superior. Same here. Plus Meat Loaf and the author actually have an intimate connection to the track. Celine was just singing it. They've lived it since they've known each other. Celine recorded it first but it's his song.

The difference between this song, and songs like Hurt, is that NOBODY thinks that Meatloaf's version is better except for his fans. When people cover this song, they rightfully call it a cover of Celine's song because THAT is the version that people know and love. Not Meatloaf's. Clearly the author didn't think Meatloaf could connect with the song if he sued him over it. Most people don't even know Meatloaf covered her song because his cover is insignificant compared to her original version. Oh, and Johnny Cash's version of Hurt is still a cover, regardless of if most people like his version more. I like his version more but I'm not deluded enough to say that it's his song. To say otherwise is stupid. Celine has her fair share of songs that are covers that went WAY beyond the originals in terms of success (All By Myself and The Power of Love are both covers of songs) but they're STILL covers, even though the average person only knows her versions.

I've seen her show twice. Believe me. She wasn't autotuned. I have seen ALW use that on Phantom and his heather musicals and I can tell when it clicks in. This isn't the same.

I saw this show in Vegas Nov 29 2007 and she does not lip-sync EVER! I've been to every one of her concert tours in America and she never is lip-syncing! and that's the truth! It amazes me how great she really is night after night on tour performing perfectly and flawlessly! she sounds like the studio album recording but you could always tell she is singing live as she adds a note or changes the key of song where she feels like! this woman is worth every dollar to see in concert and her albums never disappoint!

Her voice is so phenomenal. One of a kind. Pure talent.
