Nintendo would need to invest in servers rather than using a network reliant on individual switch owners internet connections. Servers are what every 21st century gaming company that has online multiplayer functionality uses, so Nintendo never will because it would actually cost money to run (when they are happy to simply pocket the subscription fee at 100% profit) and it would require nintendo to have an understanding of how modern internet works....which they dont. Hell, they cant even figure out cloud saving right.

@@kravor5341 Apart from RTS games, which nearly always use p2p connection, that's still not even remotely true. As far as I can tell COD hasbeen p2p until 2015, and that isn't exactly a small franchise. Even with dedicated servers, plenty of AAA games have connection issues. They can do cloud exactly how you wanted them to, but they choose not to because if their stupid reasons. You really seem to think their incompetent; they're not. They are a business, and they will cheap out where they want to. It's not like the other companies aren't just as bad, or worse.

@@kravor5341 Its much less to do with their servers and much more the nature of Mario Maker. AAA titles have less lag because you don't need high accuracy of other players location as players are rarely on top of each other, so if packets are delayed your game guesses, and its usually fine. Mario Maker requires precise information as players are close together, so your game has to wait each frame for everyone's data. Any high latency from any player and the game will lag, hence why lag often resolves when one player quits. A bad server wouldn't be fixed by that.

Kind of is designed that way, it's because the multiplayer is P2P with no kind of smoothing or prioritising one player as host or anything like that, so if connection to one is interrupted everyone else has to wait for them.

there are some situations where I get annoyed at people waiting at the goal (eg. In smb3 levels I have hope I might win because I see nobody in front of me just for me to get to the end and they just get the win. Waiting at flagpoles is fine imo but in smb3/smw levels, that hurts :(

12min : "Why did everybody boo this level ?" because the single moving plateform was mandatory, except once you got on it, it only spawned back when it left the screen, hence for them, the level stopped there : it was unplayable after that.

Points to go further in multiplayer. If there is multiple matches of lag with the same player go into "players recently played with" and block them If there is lag occurring and it goes away when a player gives up go into "players recently played with" and block them If you make it first to the goal pole wait until the second player is on screen so they can repay your generosity later If you see IIaugAez|| let him win.

I actually love when you play multiplayer, it wakens the massive troll inside of ryu. It's also hilarious!

@@freelancegaming4582 I mean a huge burst of lag the moment they need it that Peter's out to normal gameplay. It's exactly what happens if all connection is suddenly removed for a sec and then comes back.

This is probably my fav game style to watch you play. Your cheer level fluctuates so dramatically but it is so obvious you enjoy it! Finally beat Super RyuSMM World today btw. Fun stuff! My one gripe is the wall jump with POW hat after jumping off Stingby. You said going down the pipe crevice was not intended but you never showed the actual intended way! Still got it but that was ruff! Thanks for making it!

I would LOVE more multiplayer. It's very fun to watch even if you lose. Level showcase, skill demonstration, and cut throat competition combine to make the ultimate experience. It's also very easy content to make

I don't have the game, but is that actually a like or boo of the level? Since there's the additional "meh" option, I'd assumed it was a rating of the match and how well the level fits for multiplayer. So like if enough people boo, then it doesn't show up in multiplayer as much, but doesn't affect anything outside of multiplayer.

I played the level at 5:35 because I was curious. You just have to go in the first pipe, fall all the way down go through a pipe that takes you straight to the end
