Me too this was one of the first rides after Mad Tea Party and Peter Pan's Flight that I went on 18 years ago back when I was 8

I went to Disneyland yesterday with my mom. Mom told me that leaving made her "feel life coming back to her (it was hot and crowded)". But I told her that leaving made me feel the opposite. And I'm a 20-year-old man. .

Went to Hong Kong Disneyland a few years ago and, though the Corporation changed a lot of things (including shoehorning their modern characters in), it did not cheapen or sully the experience! Thanks for sharing!

I know a lot of people don't like Its a Small World but come on! So many fun memories from when I was a kid at least!

@@timetraveler9272The version they were on would be extremely old, but not Worlds Fair Old, considering that happened in 1974, which would be when they still used the old flume and fiberglass boats, and the sets weren’t manipulated as much.

I've remembered listening to this when I was younger, and the fact that this song surely brings me a lot of great memories

This always used to seriously annoy me, from when I was a little kid, but now it's the first ride I go on. It's basically the name of Disney :)

9 years ago, my Dad and I made a commitment to go to Disneyland after my cousin's wedding. We went to Small World for the first time and we had a blast. We went on it a second time, and it was just like first. The whole time on both trips, I had nothing but a big smile on my face. We still went on several of the other rides that day.

I have been to DISNEY California,and DISNEY FLORIDA...AND I LOVE THIS SONG AND THE WORDS AND MUSIC❤

I am a person who loves geography. I think going on this ride every time at disneyland planted the seed of that. I think its a jolly ride and i want to go back!

The world is indeed small yet it's not eternal. What a pity.

Memories. Played this in band for band tour. Whole band was united when we sang some of it. Fourth grade we had a Mickey mouse themed concert and was overwhelmed with excitement

Absolutely amazing!! I'm going back this October and I'm so excited to ride this again! It's my favorite!

My twin sister when she was 5 years old she cried bc it was so beautiful

I went to Disneyland when I was 5 and I rode this and it’s been my favorite ride!! I mean I get why some people think it’s annoying because like the dolls sing the same song OVER AND OVER but what’s cool is that they speak it in different languages.

I am in love with this song it's one of my favs at Disney world

this is the very first ride i went on for my first trip at disneyland it was me,my dad,and my grandma we had fun. i loved it so much i went on it twice.

Ahhhhhh! it's open with the clock. My wife had never seen the clock in action until I made her watch two years ago. We are going back in a couple of days and she wants to see the clock again. Great memories of my Oranage County childhood too.

I so freakin' love the 3-minute build-up to this

I absolutely love this ride! Can't wait to go in a few days!!

I start my day at the office with this every day. It's a good start to the day.

I love the ride myself, though I think I like the one in Disney World in Florida better than the one in Disneyland in California, probably because I went to Disney World first. And yes, I am aware of the song's earworm status, and the "creepiness" of the dolls (which I actually find to be kind of cute, but then again, I tend to like things that the general public does not)

There’s the song that gets stuck in my head for 3 months after going to Disney land

Sweet Husky Girl I live in San Diego, is easier for myself and his father to take him to Disneyland. he is 3 months old, I don’t think he will enjoy EPCOT, there’s nothing “entertaining” for infants in that magnificent park.

well my family loved riding it but i wanted it to do it again, the next two days i did it again with my mum and she really looked annoyed cuz she wanted to see the disney parade

The reason I don’t like to go on this ride is because I don’t wanna risk a breakdown and I have to listen to this for 20-30 minutes regular time it’s fine.

I’m always reminded of the entrance scene in Charlie and the Chocolate factory when the dolls perform a song for the children. Once i was on the ride and expected it to burn down and malfunction. Sadly, it didn’t.

Quera Chan It's a lot less creepy when you can see that huge clock on the front of the ride. :) But yes, if you find the sound of turning gears creepy, it's creepy.

Yeah at Disneyland there is a huge clock and it has a face and it move left and right when it clicks (just look up the clock at its a small world) and the bringing part is the characters coming form the side of the clock. Sorry if it doesn't make sense but look up the video better it will make more sense...

Whenever I go on the ride at WDW, there never seems to be any singing during the Hawaii/South Seas section of the ride. I only hear the music. Is there any way you can get just the music from that section with no singing? It's my favorite part of the ride.

I will change it to small world into “It’s a Bear World” with singing teddy bears
