Perfect! From a lifelong Maryland Resident

I moved out of Maryland many many years ago, and I am constantly homesick. I have a Maryland flag guitar strap, a Maryland flag crab on my vehicle, and so much Baltimore pride even while living in New Jersey. This song encompasses everything. Oh how I miss driving across that Bay Bridge. I miss when the ponies used to come up to the tent while camping on Assateague. Thank you for this.

I’m a South Jersey girl born and raised. I moved to Maryland 20 years ago. I love it it fits both states really except the marshmallow topping on snowball. Lol 😂 Our OC is nice, but no alcohol I prefer N Wildwood, Ventnor etc.

Damn I miss it! 😢 I just found you on another social media account where you were singing in dwntwn Nashville and I saw the Maryland flag on a pickup. Born and raised in Maryland now living in Nebraska.God it brings back memories.

Thanks for the quick glimpse of the mountains. Hail to Frostburg State (my undergraduate alma mater), Frostburg, Cumberland, Deep Creek Lake, LaVale, etc. and even Bowie State (my graduate alma mater). I just heard this song for the first time (12/15/2022). I don't live in Maryland anymore (I've have been in NC for 29 years) but I will always have #MarylandPride till the day I die. I was born at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring but initially lived in Rockville but then grew up in Darnestown, Maryland (Darnestown, Elementary, Ridgeview Junior High and Seneca Valley High School).

I just met a Balmer native this morning in Durham NC. He saw my "crab, mallets, and beer - with a Maryland flag integrated in" sticker on the back of my car and he wanted to say hi to me. I told him that no matter where you, that "Maryland Pride" will forever be shown outwardly.

I spent the Summer of ‘84 walking the boardwalk in Ocean City. I had an east facing third-story bedroom just off the boardwalk and got to enjoy many of those great sunrises. I enjoyed visiting sites all over on my off days, many of which appeared in this video, and I loved those crabs and all the other great food. And I met a wonderful gal who’s still in my life. Many of my fondest memories are of Maryland! ❤️

I'm sorry I moved from MD I lived in Delaware now sorry mistake in my life,only good thing I got out of living in Delaware is a lovely hubby and a beautiful granddaughter.

I love it! I live in the Federal Hill neighborhood of Baltimore City so I get the sunsets on the bay every night. My family from Las Vegas doesn’t understand my love for our state flag and Old Bay. They will never understand! It’s a Maryland thing. I feel so lucky to live in such a wonderful state! My favorite thing are the beautiful sunsets on the bay each night that I watch while laying in bed. The sunsets are spectacular!

I don't see this traveling too far outside of the state's borders, but when I caught it on 103.9 driving through DE it made me smile (and I liked it enough to remember it and look it up later). The amusement of a country song all about being from MD was fun, and it's a catchy song apart from the specific provincial appeal of the lyrics.
