How refreshing to watch a movie where the couple isn't yelling and rude to each other. Imagine if married people actually liked each other like these two do. They not only love each other, they like each other.

Exactly, and how broke are you, when you own outright, such a fabulous, large home, with a wine cellar full of expensive wine? The scene with her dropping the wine bottles drove me mad. Their definition of broke, and mine, are poles apart. I don't have the price of those two bottles of wine that she wasted 😁 It's a pathetic film.

I enjoyed this movie and all of its ridiculousness. I started dating this guy who is really gentle and patient with me. It took me a minute to realize that in whatever we go through our feelings for one another are still the same and issues can be resolved without fights and all the toxicity i was used to. Great movie. Watched it while marking😊😊😊

“When men get to be a certain age they start assessing what they’ve done and what they haven’t... He’s afraid he’s not going to accomplish all he thought he would.” This was my favorite line the mother-in-law speaks in the movie. When the father tells the son that its not in what women say its what they don’t say- I thought that was also a deep piece of advice. I don’t think that the emotions were fully developed/expressed in the movie except through the parents. I enjoyed their acting. The remodeling mishap scenes, timeline, and feasibility to buy the materials for the remodel were not realistic. I did enjoy the underlying message of caring for the other and finally doing so properly when they were selfless.

Why wouldn't they be calm and easygoing? They're supposedly broke, have nothing, their parents decide to let them go it alone, with nothing but each other, what a joke, they own a house anyone woul die for, not to mention a wine cellar full of wine, worth a fortune. Most people work hard all their lives, and don't end up with anything near that. Oh, and where did the money for the - mostly unnecessary - renovations come from? On top of that, this didn't even make me smile, never mind laugh. It's a pathetic film, a waste of time.

Seriously a real estate agent suggesting all those items to change before the house was sold. Any one who buys the house is going to make their own mark on the house. It's a beautiful house in the first place & for the price one is paying for it unless one is a millionaire - anything that doesn't have to be done is a bonus. If a wall is in good condition - just paint over the wall paper if it's not a bold pattern.

    1) THIS HOUSE IS AWESOME AS IT IS, The estate agent is nuts and the contractor is nut too. This couple should live in the house not sell it and work in the area. That would solve all their problems, plus the husband or boyfriend is a jerk as he lost all their money, going behind the wife back and spending it without telling her. Big deal.
