That’s not going to happen in the United States. They are not used to it nor are they going to put armed military in the of them. You guys are crazy if they are going to do that. If they don’t put the families somewhere safe for final game it will be wurst.

@@OneLove-oj4sz dude we have bigger stadiums(USA has like 6-8 stadiums in the top 10 largest in the world; that routinely get packed for games) and sporting events during football season. There were cops there. Quit being goofy. There are local cops, state troopers, state federal bureau at games And sometimes military..with cops and military with assault rifles. This incident hardly lasted 10 mins. Cops arrested 6+ people or so. It got sorted fairly quickly.

It does not matter where the aggression came from. BEHAVE AS RESPECTFUL ADULTS. There has to be law and order and, yes, punishment. Cameras are everywhere; if not, send your videos to law enforcement. We are in the USA, where we live, by respecting the law. We need more law enforcement. No more of these actions! NO MORE!

The security situation and management of the games is awful; i attended the Argentina-Canada game with my family and it was incredibly poorly managed; they let out everyone at the same place and everyone was funneled through a horrible bottleneck, the tunnel that leads to the American Dream mall. there were very few stewards and security and the crowd had no idea what to do. if that was a game between two more equal fan bases in size or there was any animosity or even just a panic it could have been a disaster. Was very scary for anyone with small kids. This is not to mention lack of support for parking and exits. Very bad and even dangerous management.

The translation/subtitles are wrong. Go to 00:48. He is NOT saying "there isn't an avalanche", he is saying "there WAS an avalanche pressing upon our families". It is confusing cuz he starts saying "no...", and he immediately changes his intonation to mark that a new utterance/sentence starts. So he uses the "no..." merely as a thought marker. So, there WAS an avalanche.

It was played in brazil, but it almost didn´t happen because the brazilian POLICE attacked the minority of argentinian fans. The team´s reaction was first trying to calm things down, then they stated that they would not continue to play in those conditions until the fans were safe (CONMEBOL even sanctioned them for that). Shitty stadiums, shitty training conditions, every coach has at some point said something about it, last one being Bielsa. They are all told to shut up about it. CONMEBOL, CONCACAF and FIFA are just a bunch of incompetent and corrupt idiots that are only worried about taking down piracy sites (in south america, every damn football competition is streamed in a different streaming service, making it almost impossible to keep up with the prices) than making an actual tournament. This issue is bigger than fans at one game unfortunately violence and racism are culturally deeply embedded in soccer and many continents around the world. Ask the Australian Soccer League hooligans what happens when you disrespect the game and players, banded for life!!! We have no room for that here. It's a lot harder to enforce in South America and Europe, the sad thing is Violence will always be a part of the game if nations, clubs and FIFA continue to allow it year after year.

No Colombians where arrested, and all of the videos from up close have the Colombians running away and telling the Uruguayans to calm down. There where probably insults thrown at Uruguayans, but that is no reason to start a brawl.

Many players from Uruguay left the country immediately, why? because there are videos where it shows them as the aggressors, example Betancur. There are videos where there were Uruguay's fans in suits throwing objects to Colombians fans. And there is a video where supposedly their family members were where you can see male's wearing the Uruguay's t-shirt are being very aggressive towards the Colombian fans. In a nutshell, it looks like there are more evidence of the Uruguay being the aggressor.
