Here's a link to the full roofing series!
• Replacing the Roof Our...
What our channel is about:
We bought this semi-detached bungalow in August 2022 and given ourselves 3years to flip the property and sell on. We have a target budget of £70,000! Natasha is the editor and video maker, while Rhys is the builder (a carpenter by trade). We plan on doing 95% of the work ourselves to keep costs down.
This channel is for documenting our experiences - Good or Bad. This is our first time doing anything like this with full times jobs! Can we stick within our budget? Will the building inspector pass each stage? and the biggest question...will we still be married at the end of the project? Subscribe to find out...

Brilliant job done there guys. The attention to detail is fantastic and I bet your neighbour is made up to get the rotten chimney removed and such a neat repair their side too.

Thank you Mike, I hope she is, I still need to give her the chimney pots as she’s very elderly and she asked for us to keep them for her because her farther used to be a chimney sweeper. Appreciate your kind words! 😊

Hi both it looks fantastic and so neat , and 8 weeks is to be honest pretty good going . And I doubt you would get the same attention to detail from some professionals , not all I hasten to add but you know what I mean . As for work gear we always used Snicker stuff , it’s expensive but it takes some beating. Also they do a pretty comprehensive catalog, as regards sizing , funnily enough I recently sent some hardly used trousers to charity , the type that had a top bit that went over your shoulders . Just out of curiosity I had look to see how much they cost now , ironically they still sell them at £138 pounds 😂 . But you being the hardy type shorts should be a lot cheaper , and now of course they do work gear for ladies to . And you would have to have your channel name on them obviously , I can see both all resplendent as you tackle the next phase of this fascinating project .👍. Kind regards as ever.

Thank you, we’ve tried our best to make it as good as any other roofers work and hopefully better thank our neighbours 😊 I will have a look at snickers this evening, I’m hoping to get some trousers for this colder weather as my knees aren’t thanking me 😅 you we will see the hard work soon that we put in over Christmas 👍 thank you again

No problem you are becoming my go to channel , and yes I do follow quite a few . But I wish in the early 80s I had the chance of being able to interact with people like you , but of course in those times it was the local library that was the fountain of all knowledge . I’m sure you probably know there will be a plenty of people out there that will be keen to see and absorb the content you provide . Knowledge is always king , and our duty as custodians is to impart as much as we can , to our fellow compradores . OTT probably but many of my former apprentices still will say I helped them on their journey , even though I might have given them a hard time at some point . Kind regards as always from an old curmudgeon 😂
