Thanks for getting back to me, Chris! I have other pieces of various kinds, some of which are published, and I hope to write more when I retire from teaching classroom music in June. I still enjoy listening to Home Free. My husband, little son and I first saw and met you when you were on your tour with Allied, performing in Watertown, WI. Of all the local Concert Series shows, that one was my son's most favorite. He thought you guys were so funny, that he was practically rolling in the aisles. Your 7th Avenue group sounds great, too. This has been one of my favorite hymns since I was a kid. It got me through a lot of hard times. Thank you, Chris, for such an awesome arrangement for it! Some of those complex chords reminded me a lot of Take 6, who've helped inspire me in my writing of arrangements. Keep up the good work! :D

Such a beautiful rendition of one of my favorite songs. I actually sang this a cappella at my uncles funeral but didn’t do it half as good as you Especially having learned the story behind it. Singing it at the seashore was such a great tribute to the writer.

I know this song so well. I used to sing it as a favorite solo (long ago). I also had a small Christian quartet, and it was one of our favorites - especially when we ministered at nursing homes. Your arrangement and heartfelt singing keep bringing me back to hear it at the end of my days (which is the early morning for everyone else, since I've long been a night owl), recently. Thank you so much for sharing it on KZread. I don't have much to give at the moment. My husband had open heart surgery in January, with no insurance (if it could have waited for just 18 more months he'd have been on Medicare...sigh). So...we are doing our best to pay small amounts on a dozen or so huge medical bills every month. However, I keep hearing, "Go give something on Patreon for Chris Rupp." So that's where I'm headed right now. OK...I really want to do this, but I'm somewhat confused. I would do the $1 per music video, except if that means that it would be more than $3/month (maybe $5), I really can't do it. I know that sounds ridiculous, but that's honestly all I can do right now. Could you let me know, on the average, how many times a month you might be releasing new videos? Thank you.

😄 I think of Peter every time I listen to Chris! I love both of their voices but I tend to like Chris's content more in part for the hymns and because Peter has started doing a lot of gamer music and I am just not a gamer
