"It Happened On YOUR Watch!" | Julia Hartley-Brewer SLAMS Gender Ideology Sex Education

Julia Hartley-Brewer calls out Tory MP Miriam Cates over the rise of gender ideology in schools.
“Who has been in Government for the last 15 years? It’s your lot! This has happened under a Tory watch, Miriam!”
This week, teachers will face stricter regulations on sex education.
Gillian Keegan will release instructions to schools on Thursday in response to parental concerns regarding the curriculum.
The guidelines will emphasize that the concept of gender ideology, suggesting that individuals can be born into the wrong sex, should be presented as a 'contested belief' rather than fact.
Additionally, schools will be required to share all educational materials with parents to gain their approval of the content being taught.

Children are taught about healthy, respectful relationships, focusing on family and friendships - including online and social media. They also learn about physical health, parts of the body, boundaries and puberty. What part of that is grooming? Or do you want children ignorant John?

Not just in schools but in the media music industry fashion industry. I like music a lot. But there are women, particularly motherhood should be celebrated. Without mother there would be no society or indeed people to make news about. Motherhood is the ultimate act of selflessness and should be supported and celebrated not treated with disdain or should be the result of no moral compass.

Sonic the Hedgehog. One of the greatest and most attractive characters ever thought up. He can run at sound speed, take out enemies in a flash, and best of all, he's blue colored and knows how to handle the females. Speaking of females, the Sonic universe might also be classified as "Hot Chick Heaven" because there's such a mess of very beautiful and tough women that it will make you love the franchise even more! And since Valentine's Day is around the corner, I've been inspired to make a top 10 list of the most beautiful female Sonic characters. Why 'new' regulations? Isn't there a restriction in the UK on teachers teaching sex education, anyway? In NZ, when I taught (in saner times), primary school teachers couldn't provide sex education unless they had done a special, approved course, which included learning how to recognise triggered trauma, when to stop a lesson and who to report concerns to. And this was for merely talking about body parts, never mind in relation to ramming a Play Boy curriculum down 6 year-olds' throats as seems to be the current trend. Any old teacher couldn't randomly discuss sex with their pupils. Is teacher training no longer a thing, or am I a dinosaur who belongs to another era?

Contemporary discourse surrounding childhood sexuality frequently centers on safeguarding children from potential harm, resulting in the dominance of a victimological model that characterizes children primarily as potential victims. “The paradigm of child sexual abuse, as we know it today, forms part of a historical process, of which David Finkelhor’s texts are an integral part, in which resorting to the culture of victimism by the social sciences became prominent, perhaps even preeminent. This allowed for the establishment of a new moral order, as well as the rise of the ‘‘psychological industry’’ (Malon, 2009). Children’s sexual experiences with adults are daunted by inappropriately interpreted events as applying to all childhood sexual experiences. These assumptions discourage research into the full range of the characteristics of such experiences. We should encourage unbiased investigations showing that such factors as reactions, effects, power, and motivations are much more varied and complex than the narrow views found in victimological assumptions, which are unfortunately accepted uncritically by professionals, the media, and the public. The victimological model tends to portray male figures as potential threats or perpetrators, which can reinforce harmful stereotypes and biases. By emphasizing children as victims, it inadvertently fosters an environment where toxic masculinity rhetoric becomes more prevalent. The characterization of all adult-child sexual interactions as inherently harmful can contribute to a perception that men, in particular, are prone to sexual predation. In this context, discussions surrounding toxic masculinity may perpetuate the fear and distrust of men, impacting how society views childhood sexuality, gender identity, and relationships. By challenging the victimological model's oversimplified approach, we can also question how it intersects with toxic masculinity rhetoric and whether this rhetoric is influenced by misinformation and fear associated with childhood sexuality. It's essential to explore how these two phenomena interact and how they collectively affect public perceptions, policies, and attitudes toward men, children, and the broader discourse surrounding these complex issues. By acknowledging the capacity of children to understand and engage with their own sexuality responsibly, society can transcend the limitations of the victimological model and work towards a more balanced, informed, and responsible approach that considers the complexities of childhood sexuality, toxic masculinity, and their interplay. A significant variable to consider with childhood sexuality are their ability to express their feelings, thoughts, and interests, particularly in public. Contrary to what people like to believe, children do act on their own desires and are erotically interested in sex. Children are actively collaborating in sexual relationships with their peers and with adults, despite discrepancies about the age of consent. Thus, the conundrum becomes clear: how to acknowledge a child’s developing cognitive capacity for sexual activity while also allowing them the chance to make autonomous decisions in their own best interests.

Sex is no more dangerous or traumatic for children than karate, swimming, gymnastics, biking, etc. Actually, it is far less dangerous because serious injuries and even death are much less likely or possible. Psychologically, any activity could have traumatizing effects, but overall, with sex, they aren't very serious.Nonclinical general population surveys revealing nonproblematic intergenerational sex include the Kinsey study of women, it found that 24% of the women questioned had sexual experiences with adults as children, about 4% having been approached sexually by relatives. The Kinsey researchers said, "the experience often involved considerable affection," and some of the older females in the sample felt that their preadolescent experience had contributed favorably to their socio-sexual development!" In another survey of 1,200 college females, they found that 26% had sexual experiences with adults before the age of 13. It concluded that most of the women did not report or appear to have any long-term negative consequences.
