This isn’t how I imagined the film to be honestly

I watched this trailer twice would watch it again but my baterery's dying but I still can't figure out what's the world phenomenon that the show is about. Is it love or abuse?

@@erynangel8800 I read the book, here is my long response.... Spoilers Ahead... I’ve not read many of CV books, but i liked how this one as it was an experience as the reader went through with the main character as she feel in love with someone who at first she experienced the highs of love with, got really attached to then discovered he had anger issues and toxic tendencies. As a young adult, there is some level of naivety, so I didn’t really see the red flags except when looking for them in a re-read, which I felt opened my eyes a little. The book that actually addresses his abuse as such and she doesn’t end up with him. For me this book of CV has a message that a lot of people with abusive family/partners can relate to and even people that didn’t experience it as it feels relatable, like it can happen to anyone. It isn’t about love, but abuse and needing to let go even if you do love them.
