You have a good eye for when the dam is about to fail!
Digging with the shovel really helped the water level to drop. Love, from America. 🇺🇸🇱🇹

I could not have resisted lifting out that big log first, as you'd think it will jam up somewhere down stream !? That tree on the other side would be an ideal spot to strap a trail cam to for a week, and see if you could capture beavers building a dam ! Everyone would be fascinated. 😁🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

Less of a log and more of a tree!. I suspect it just floated down stream onto the dam because there would have a team of beavers to move that bloody thing....🤓

Not sure if it applies here but I don't see why not... People who clear debris from dams and culverts send it downstream because most of it doesn't get jammed again, but what does just gets cleared out by someone else and it eventually makes it to wherever (ocean, lake, river, whatever).
Great idea using the measuring stick. You should do that every time.

Nice drain job!
Loved that cute little pine tree in the beginning. Looked like a Roberta sized tree. Watched that big log in the middle hang on for a long time. Thought you were going to have to move it yourself. The rushing water is impressive. Good job!
Algorithmen. Gute Arbeit.
Ooh I like the shovel to clean it up.
WOW, you sure did empty that, the beavers will be going crazy lol 😆
The way they build up all that mud is incredible. And where did that giant log end up? Do you know?

Get some lighter long sleeve wicking hoodies or shirts for working on hot days. They make them for fishing, and its a life saver In the heat. Keep up the good work. Hello from the west coast of Canada 🇨🇦
They’ll be back tonight with more sticks and mud. Those beavers did do a pretty good job with the dam this time. Keep up the good work.

I wonder if the beavers come back as say “I’m sure this is where we left the house?” Lol😂😂😂
Nice job today. The location was very pretty. The water sure went down a lot. 39 cm = 3 feet so that's a lot. Thanks.
Mantas great video. Love the way you had a ruler for the deepest part of the water, you should do that more often. Love the way the dam collapsed, small pieces at a time. David B.,Utah, USA. 🤗💞❤❤❤.

Wow, that did go fast! Good idea with the meter stick, at least you can measure how far it drops, without having to figure out actual volume.
Good job.
If you weaken the far side that you leave behind butbleave it intact, beavers will rebuild the gap you made, but they should leave the part that didn't collapse or get removed. As water comes up as they rebuild it should collapse on the far side that you had weakened. Giving you hopefully some more time between and possible trail camera footage of a self collapse dam.
Always waiting for a gator to pop out haha! Be safe!
You can beat the sound of the water to sooth one's soul 😊

When beaver rebuild a dam that fast i'd to maintain a narrow deep cut. They are easy to remove than a whole dam. Anything that is not under water does not have to be removed.

Love the videos, keep them coming! A couple of questions for you; do you ever fall in the water? do you see the beavers when you are working?
@Kenislovas

Thanks! Never fall in the water and didn't see beavers working :) They are working on night :)
Do you ever get fish in those canals or chanels?
the levelstick is a great add on.....do youhaveany mech?
Bit of a tricky one today with that big log. It looked like it could make it easier but more dangerous. Big log could surprise you and knock you down or injure you. Sorry about looking for dangerous situations, but that was my job for 35 years. Old habits stay with you. That area did drain fast. Don't know if I would have walked upstream like you did. I would be worried about beaver bandits. I liked the measuring stick idea. Are you dėdė Mantas yet? Or still just tėtis? Love to Elfa and Moma.

Hey Papa. This one looked like a lot more work to bust. And they chewed up all those trees !! I wonder how long it takes for a beaver to fell trees as large as the ones in that dam?? And even back upstream the trees are chewed up lying across the channel as well as the ones crossing the channel on the other side of the dam.
@Kenislovas

Hello Jeremy! I don't know how long. But I would say several days :)
Have to relocate beavers if you want it to stop
Nice 1, that area looks like it needs a trip with the chainsaw.
Jika volume air tinggi, anda juga perlu memperhitungkan hilir sungai, ada warga.
You should've kept walking upstream, probably another dam.
Any idea why the beaver don’t use the materials (sticks) you remove from earlier dams to build new dams?
@Kenislovas
24 күн бұрын
Maybe they are thinking that: If previous material gone wrong it's bad quality.
Trying to imagine how bad that water smells.
Another great job you drained that swamp.we could use you in Washington DC.😂

Seems you have no idea what I am doing✌️
Do you think you're channel is so successful because you do it in English?
@Kenislovas
24 күн бұрын
No. I think because I am still excited to do it.
You have to start widening the spot where you remove the dam , they only have four feet fill back in, stretch the hole out as far as you can. That big pile on the side where the tree is should be knocked down a bit, but you leave so much building material left that they don't have to work to hard to rebuild.
Kick that shit in there real fast while the water is rushing. Get rid of the building materials and widening will help, they already try to dam it up where the creek is not real wide, they are just a little bit more motivated than most people think and if they hear running water they try to stop it.
