My 2013 gas Fiat 500 is still going strong. Love the car.

I have recently bought one for my wife and we both love it! Actually if we’re going out together we always take the Fiat instead of my Mercedes! We love the way it drives, the way it looks and the fact that when we get back we simply plug it in in the garage! It’s certainly not for those who buy their pants from Kmart though, that’s for sure.

Just discovered your channel. You do an amazing job, and I love that you mostly review "real people" cars, not crazy stuff most people aren't buying. Keep it up, great stuff! BTW probably getting this pink color of the 500e when it hits the U.S. market later this year. She has an older IC 500, and has always loved it.

We have this in pink with 4 doors. It is absolutely great. I even get my two kids and dog in it. In rear facing car seats mind you. Best thing ever

Looks like fun, and that recharge mode is fantastic. I’ve always liked Fiat 500’s, and have a mate who has a slightly historic petrol one. This would win my heart quite easily, but head rules. I’d love to drive, but not own one, a great little city car, that’s for sure! Great review of a little car that offers plenty.

Love it - probably pick one up. The Volvo EX-30 will give it a run for the money in the US.

That was a great and funny, honest review. It's so adorable looking and I love the retro look interior . The front lights look like eyes ... lol. But the price is too steep.

​@@therightcar Yes, it changes the situation completely! I'm interested in having all the driver assist functions, and that's why if I purchase a 500e it would have to be the top model, but the less expensive models are really interesting 👍👍

It's definitely got the charm and it will appeal to that niche group of people, but it's too expensive! Hopefully Fiat Australia brings out a cheaper entry level spec next year. The Fiat 600e compact SUV could be the kick start Fiat needs here, if it gets the greenlight for an Australian release. Will be interesting to see how the upcoming Peugeot e-208 hatch fares when that lands too. I've actually stayed at the Lingotto hotel in Turin that was the former site for the Fiat factory. We also did the walk around the very top (roof top) of the building where they used to test drive the vehicles. Had spectacular views and a great experience. Also went to the Museo Nazionale dell’Automobile in Turin, which should also be on any 'car lovers' to do list's while in the city.

Thanks for your comment mate. And yep, you’re spot on, so let’s see what happens with Fiat next year. And I can’t wait to see how Peugeot prices the e-208! Ooh, lovely. I’ve been to Turin too, and the place feels steeped with automotive history! What an experience.

I would definitely choose between 500e and COOPER other two cars aren’t that “stylish” from my standpoint.

It is very cute and has some elements of Italian style. It is as you say zippy and fun but at $52k (+ORCs) is a lot of money. It's obviously meant as a city runabout for one person or maybe a couple or perhaps a second car for doing all the running around but when compared to Chinese models you mention it doesn't represent value for money. I'm pretty sure it won't be on the shopping list for me.

Makes perfect sense. I drive less than 150 miles a month.

Fiats are amazing cars. The issue with this model is the price tag. Way too much.

You have a problem. And the baby seat are mounted in reverse..

I like the little car fiat 500 but only if it is a gas car. I don't like the idea of charging at all. I love tiny car. I like the two tone interior.

So you haven’t had an EV, yet you’re not open to the idea of one? Why?

No way is an MG4 an alternative. After sitting in one I was left thinking ... really??? ... It may be good in other ways, but the interior is cheap...really cheap. The GWM Ora is a bit better but the cost is getting close to that of the FIAT.

No, you are wrong about the MG4, the interior is minimalist, not cheap. Perhaps study one closely before you make an ill informed comment. Certainly for its price point it is ok as mentioned in just about every review on the car.

@@wigs1098 Didn't you read my comment? I was at an EV expo today and sat in many EV's. Cheap is exactly how to describe it. Apart from an old Barina that was converted to electric, that one stood out. There were Tesla's, Volvo's, Polestar's, BYD's, Cupra's, Hyundai's, KIA's, etc. All had some good points and some had bad points.

@@YZJB OK, but I had a point to make. You can buy a mid spec Mazda 3 for cheaper than that. Granted it is an ICE, but it would look like a million dollars in comparison.

Byd dolphin or mg4 No way you spend 50k for that thing. If its 35k or under probably hv a chance to compete but not 50k

That’s going to depend on the trim. Initially, only the higher-spec, more expensive trims are more expensive. But that should change.

I haven't stopped laughing over $50,000 for that. For a start it's a Fiat. Good way to loose $50,000. I have thought some previous EV,s were overpriced this makes them look like a bargain.

If car reviewers would review women, they'd first ask, how much does she cost, second, what other females are available in that price category, thirdly, how is her ass. What I am trying to say is, why is every damn car reviewer using the same dumb approach to reviewing a car in a completely nonsensical and backwards way. What do I do with a car? I DRIVE it. You dont need to show me the trunk first.

Looks ugly though imagine buying it on finance and u look at it every day
