I think this has become my favorite Ann Miller performance. Wow, she's amazing.
Ann seems to really enjoy performing - actually having fun. Thanks.
We saw Ann Miller in the year 80 in Miami, with my mom it was spectacular there was Mickey Rooney too
Fab as always , Annie !
The spinning part just rocks!
Look at that footwork it's amazing! Only Ann Miller could combine the Charleston with tap and made it look easy.

She's definitely got It!
Fabulous . Great to be able to view these gems .
Thank you for uploading this magnificent dance number in such a good quality! And with stereophonic sound as well!
Great. It's the best dance number by Ann Miller.
Ann Miller what an amazing Dancer Singer and Beauty I believe the very best talent ever

You're absolutely right, lady Miller was the best!
Yes, some (3?) were from the 'Beautiful Girl' number, some from 'The Broadway Ballet", and the rest from the opening sequence at Grauman's Chinese Theater... :)
Geez....the best ever!
Love this!!!!!
Legend
Only Eleanor Powell could have surpassed Ann in tap dancing... solo. Ann could dance ballroom dancing as well, sing and act dramatically.. she didn't have a chance to be a dramatic actress like Judy Garland... but... well all that went down into history already. Thank you for the wonderful upload...
I love this! :D
Cyd Charice was the most beautiful dancer in those years.
I love the way she dances!!
I love her too! I've just seen her as the funny sister of Jean Arthur in "You can't take it with you" - she was young and gorgeous.
And in such great quality too! Thanks :D

hi , how are you
I always loved this movie. I wish someone (you?) would post it onYT. ☺
I enjoy most of “Deep In My Heart” but it is a bit heavy-going at times. It sure benefits from Ann Miller’s energetic entry.
Damn, Annie could DANCE.
OhmyGod, I LOVE that the costumes are from Singing in the Rain. Brilliant!
all the costumes look like they are from singing in the rain, fro the beautiful girl song
There is no way that is even possible!
She's got IT
Lindo demaisssssssssssss
Me too, me too!
This is correct! And I think this is what makes this musical number more special! If you can I recomend you the post on the film written by my good friend Ricardo, that discusses the subject (the link is bellow video's description
Anyone else notice that her heels started out really high and then were much shorter when she started dancing?

At about 3.17 the heels/shoes change. Good catch.
Guy in the yellow is Fred Kelly.
A frenzied 1950's caricature of the 1920s.
Can you upload the "Your Land And My Land" song scene, sung by Howard Keel?
Where did you get this gem?? When I fisrt read Artists and Models I thought it was Dean Martin, Jerry Lewis and Shirley Maclaine's movie///just to find out that this one was actually made a year earlier...guess which influence did it get?
I've read the blog Singin' in the Rain is directed by Gene Kelly & Stanley Donen.
Lol! Most of those costumes ended up in "Singing in the Rain."

Julie Newmar's name doesn't appear in the cast list for the movie on IMDB nor does the movie appear in her list of credits on her own IMDB page.

Actually Julie Newmar is now listed as "Vamp" in "Artists and Models" (uncredited) in the full IMDB cast list.
Only thing I want more of is the woman in black sequin!
Funny how the 50s looked at the 20s then only 30 years back. Like Singing In The Rain did. It was originally in Desert Song, not Artists and Models.

George Strum maybe because both movies are set in the 1920s.

It was never in The Desert Song, it was from Artists and Models. Can you imagine this in The Desert Song??
Howmuch can you steal? Fred, Gene, Cyd, brilliant indeed.

Nonsense. She dubbed her own taps, just like Astaire, Kelly, etc..

It's hard to keep the fabulous Ann Miller down, but this frenetic musical number tries. Deep In My Heart is a dreadful film, but she seems to have wandered in from another movie. She was terrific, but she doesn't need this awful number around her.

Film work was slowing down for Ann at MGM. This number was the only thing Ann had in release at MGM in the year 1954. She did one final musical film the following year.
迷惑人心的女性 \ 俺 深深為她著迷!
What other hobbies have you got? Sheesh.
Poor quality unwatchable.
she is'rt making her own taps live. they were dubbed buy boys from the south who were given nothing to credit their work jusr cuz of race and of their colored complexcion
@jochenstossberg5427

Wrong and right. Taps were always pre recorded or added after filming. But Ann Miller did ALL her own taps, unlike Gene Kelly who had Carol Haney on hand to record his taps when he was tired. Your comment about boys from the south is racist and offensive and totally wrong.
