Ricardo Montalban was a seriously underestimated actor. Every Director who worked with him had nothing but praise.

Sadly, very true. He was an amazing actor. I can't imagine anyone playing his roles of Rourke on Fantasy Island or Khan in the movies or the series. His equal is just not seen everyday by mere mortals like us. The look, the smile, the body and the voice, his voice was amazing.

I think he was a joke. Even SNL poked fun at him.
Ann Miller when interviewed about this dance number stated that it was brought in to save the picture. Ricardo Montalban badly injured one leg as well when he had to carry both Cyd and Ann and twirl them around in the middle of the dance number. It was a great number with great music. Cyd and Ann looked very sexy with Ricardo.

I wondered about carrying both women. Yikes!
What beautiful colors the film has.
Never has a cat fight been so colorful or choreographed so well! Best part of the movie, which was pretty much unwatchable other than this! Leave it to Cyd and Ann to give their all in a performance - ‘course Ricardo was no slouch either and just as easy on the eyes! Great dance number!
Ann Miller was a cousin of mine. Her father was from a small town near where I grew up and he was my grandfather’s cousin. (Mine too I guess) He moved to Texas where he met Ann’s mother and they married, had Ann, and split up fairly quickly. She was raised by her mother, who was a stage mother but very doting towards Ann. Her dad became a wealthy Houston lawyer along the way. She had very little to do with him growing up but I noticed she married wealthy powerful men from Texas several times. Marriages didn’t last. She seemed to marry people like her dad. RIP Cousin Ann😊

Ann was a very beautiful dancer! I have a few memorabilia pictures of her I’ve been collecting for awhile she was an amazing dancer!
Someone really thought out this dance number. This is still a touch of the Golden Age in movies for me.
Ricardo is not only a gentleman and full of charm....what a talent! Loved when he lifted both Cyd and Ann...wow! He was very handsome to boot!
It's so elegant and passionate, I just love this number 🙂

Yes he did. There are worse things than having Cyd Charise and Ann Miller on either arm at the same time. Come to think of it, there aren’t many things better.
Charmoso e jovem Ricardo 'Khan' Montalban!!! Bela dança!!!
Definitely the highlight of the film. Great dance sequence❗
MERVEILLEUSE CYD CHARISSE quel trio a notre époque ces grands films sont terminés

So amazing seriously
Apparently when shooting had been completed the studio knew they had a dud on their hands, and this dance was shot and inserted into the film to inject some much-needed life into the project. It is really the highlight of The Kissing Bandit, however the film still bombed at the box office and lost over $2,000,000 - an absolute fortune back then.

I loved Sinatra in this movie. His singing was on point. Who cares about the Dance of Fury. Kathryn Grayson & Frank Sinatra singing was beautiful. So were they.

I don’t get to? Who are you…..I’m entitled to my opinion….and according to the first amendment. They haven’t made dance movies since Gene Kelly, in the 1950s. It’s a comedy after all. I enjoyed the singing, costumes and humor.

@@cate4890 What opinion? You said who cares about the Dance of Fury. Then you hyped the singing. That's no opinion, that's just a prejudice. Two great singers made a movie that flopped. Dance of Fury was added at the end to try and save the movie. The dance was spectacular, the singing was just meh. The movie failed at the box office. No one remembers the movie but they do remember the dance. Your opinion is uninformed.

Wow...this was hot!! Ann Miller, Cyd Charisse and Ricardo Montalban together! The costumes, the music, the dancing...just perfect. I have never seen Ann Miller do this kind of dancing before. She is obviously more than a tap dancer. And I have never seen Cyd Charisse tap before this. How did Ricardo pick up both those women at the same time?
Ricardo ♡♡♡
Very beutiful dance
Amazing dancing.
LOVED this part ......
Awesome n graceful dancing.😊
Good God that's discipline and dedication..👏👏👏🏆
beautiful
Stunning! ✨
love this movie. Like Disney's It's a small world, I like to think of Mexico as colorful, and beautiful like what this movie represents.
Magnifique
Just watched this movie, this was the best scene. If they took out the singing and had more of Ann Miller doing her whirling dervish dancing, it would have been a much better movie. No fan of Sinatra, I almost didn't watch the whole movie and I fast forwarded through the singing, but I'm glad I stayed for this scene.
Great video 👍👌👏
Throw Vera Ellen in to the mix and you'd have the three greatest female dancers of that era. Superb

Love this screen. But the rest if the not so much.
I love this dance and they weren't even the stars of the movie.
Weird. The first shock was Frank Sinatra in a toupee and that _costume,_ then the bizarre dance ménage ét trois. I adored Ann Miller in, “You Can’t Take it With You,” but Hollywood musicals didn’t ever seem to do her much good. I guess there’s a good reason I’ve never heard of this movie.

The girls were great no fault there but my God he was terrible he just could not carry the sketch, he simply was under talented. And he ruined the whole sketch with his lack of talent.
