Hey Omkar, You mentioned in the video that one of your friends got placed in IT companies with the help of a consultant who was a Civil Engineer where he got laid off. So my query is that can we switch careers from Civil to IT? My understanding is that if we do Masters in Civil Engineering, we have to work in the same field. Please let me know. I've an experience of about 6 years as a Full Stack Java Developer, now I got picked in the H1B lottery results announced recently and it was through a consultancy and they're preparing to file for my visa, however I'm told I've to bear the visa application fee amounting to $5000. I'm confident that i have the necessary skills to find a job am i good to go ahead or is something fishy?

​@@ImmigrantTalks I've checked the authenticity of the consultancy and while they've been active only for about 2 years they have a 100% success rate when it comes to Visa application approval. About my job, I can go and find one there right? Do you think there'll be any unforeseen challenges?

Depends upon your major, I do feel it’s still a good idea if you are non tech. For tech I honestly don’t know what future holds like.

Enjoying oil burning fiesta. Monies created out of thin air..paid to ppl.hard to continue this more. As most nations running on phantom carrying capacity. 8000 m people under population pressure, will do any thing to live..in a system running under competitive mode. We have few choices..

There are no vacancy if we apply normally but through consultancy more vacancies wah no place to talent such a shit country and universities in usa. Reality of us students: for assignment they pay to sme agency get it done For jobs pay to consultancy get job Pls don't give minimum respect to people who gonna or studying in usa
