You did a great job@ Tts performance. 8.5 second is really very impressive. You know that all wheel drive electric hypercar Rimac nevera which has 1914 hp and 2360 nm of torque did 8.25 second quarter mile time. Let's beat that 8.25 . I really hope this bike will definitely reach 8.1 in the quarter mile. Still 8.5 is very very impressive. I love it.

Now With 450+ hp with taller final gearing, Superbusa can definitely reach 370 km/h (230 Mph)

I would think the Superbusa could perform better on a mile course, having all that power, when quarter mile is for lighter bikes. Just a thought.

You do realize that this bike has far less power than many drag bikes, right? They race on the quarter and eighth mile.

@@fivespeed3026 Yes. My point was , i have couple friends you have ran high 8`s on a lightly modified gen2 Busa. Also 1000cc bikes run very good times with quite little power modifications. Superbusa has more capabilities to go very fast when its not about leaving the line very quick, standing mile is the right venue to have a go. There is lot of videos where bike "magazines" test bikes for "top speed", which it is not when the course is not long enough. Just click Straightliners events and see where are the dates and places to see and try fast runs.

Congratulations for reaching 8.5 and 8.6. You will definitely reach 8.1 or 8.2 in the near future. And dont forget to measure 0-60 mph with your draggy gps device.

The bikes evolving all the time. On E85 we’re now running over450hp so 235 mph I think is possible.

Apparently 600hp isnt exactly "streetable" but i guess thats what happens when you over do it. Still 48000 to have that happen must hurt bad.

Seems to be just getting into its stride at 1/4 mile… r.a.p.i.d!! E85 would kill all my classic 90s bikes.. I don’t even put E10 in any of mine.. if I can get ethanol free fuel, that’s all I use

Love the bike build. Been following from beginning. Unfortunately you can’t ride that bike. Seems like lack of experience or just plain scared. You may know all the technical aspects but you definitely not a rider. If you allowed a real drag racer to ride you got a winning bike. Also gearing is off you almost in 5th in the 1/4 mile🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

Don’t mince your words! 😂. There’s no doubt there are faster, much lighter guys out there but the idea is to get it set up well before I put a jockey on it. But I’m telling you when I have it set up I won’t be hanging around.

I think you're missing the point, dude! Rich is 70 years old and still drag racing his own bikes! Of course, younger, lighter, riders could set a better time, but Rich built the company, develops the bikes and has been drag racing for over 40 years. He still loves it and I think that deserves a massive nod of respect.

Both machines have been butchered and are ugly. I can't stand "drag" machines. Every single one that I've seen ends up going from a decent looking vehicle to messed up and ugly. Look at Hayabusas. They come out the factory HIDEOUS, and then they're made even uglier. Disgusting. 🤢🤮 And the people that actually spend money to watch people drive in a straight line. Wow. Mindblown.
