It had nothing to do with drugs. That was a lie. Steve Burns just decided it was time to move on, plus he was going bald and thought it might freak out the kids. He actually came back for the 100th episode (I think) and wore a top hat the whole time

There is one more of these that he made that goes over the story within the show rather than the real life meaning behind this.

Yeah Steve didn't die or do drugs. He left Blue's Clues because he was getting old and was starting to go bald. So he left before that could happen.

the major issues with this theory now is that dhmis IS a television series now, initially intended to air on TV, and the creators have said they greatly appreciate and enjoy the children's TV shows that inspired the series, it works ok within the original 6 episodes divorced from the creators intent but it doesn't work outside of that

@@L16htW4rr10r that's not really true imo, the theory that big media companies are bad and creative integrity can't be kept doesn't work at all ideologically with their decision, and the praise of children's shows occurred early in the production of the original series, so criticism of that doesn't really seem to work, it's a fine interpretation divorced from authorial intent, but that's about it

I also love the Sesame Street martians. Good to know I'm not the only one.

May I suggest watching the DHMIS theory by Night Mind? Personally, I think it goes a lot deeper that what MatPat did in his theories.

The only problem is that night mind makes super long videos. It's not very convenient for reactions lol. That's probably why matpat is more well-known in general.

Ctrl+F sounds very inefficient as your channel grows. I search whole comment sections with thousands of comments using a comment search extension. Maybe a good thing to start using.

imo, The dream theory by inside a mind goes more in depth and makes much more sense once you've seen it. if you haven't seen the theory video by inside a mind than I would definitely recommend watching it right now!

@@brickfilmgamerpro8644 I already watched that too, I just dont agree with it as a story but I can’t disagree with it. As I personally think that DHMIS is trying to make you think and nothing more, it’s art and art is subjective. While the notebook might fail at teaching us about Imagination I think this series secretly does, all theories are correct you can come up with your own answers. The only reason I recommend Night mind’s video is that I think it explains the TV theory better then Matpat’s videos all together. However I still like other videos inside a mind makes. Side note: I pretty sure alot of old theories have been half-debunked by the new sereis however they might all be right still.

@@maxwellattacks6645 Yeah that makes sense. I think I just like inside a minds theory better because he kind of debunks film theory's one and gives a few strong points of evidence for his one. But it is true that art is subjective and all theory's are correct in a way.

@@brickfilmgamerpro8644 thats what I like about DHMIS it has enough bread crums to make random creative thoughts a valid theory. In a lot of ways I agree with inside the mind’s disagreements with the TV theory, as people take it as the only valid theory. I think the same about that new “David” theory or Matpat’s later theorys that make no sense.

@@maxwellattacks6645Yeah I agree but I do think that the creators do have an intentional story or meaning behind it that they implemented in the show. Anyone can make a valid theory but I think that inside a minds theory comes closest to what I believe were the creators intentional story.

11:00 Not trying to rain on your parade dude, but it's kind of obvious where that was going. Not really a cause for celebration.

You HAVE to watch the dhmis theory by "inside a mind" and react to it. It is SO MUCH BETTER than film theory's one!

Here's a theory no one is considering. One: What if Roy is Yellow? A representation of what he is to come after years of this abuse? Or actually him in the future? Because this Media theory is cute, but clearly isn't what's going on. There's also the underlying sexual abuse theory. But, we don't know who's world this really is. It isn't Roy's. And it isn't Lesley's, as there is another staircase in her room. And here's something everyone needs to let go of. This. Is NOT our world. It's theirs. This isn't our Earth, our rules, our Beliefs. It has its own rules. Its own truths.
