MatPat may stretch sometimes but its always fun and sometimes like in this case I believe to be accurate.

Same, I feel like the DHMIS theories felt the closest in terms of accuracy. It feels like an actual thing I can see what the story is trying to tell in this KZread series version of DHMIS

I do think some of Film Theory's conclusions are a bit far fetched, but fun to consider. Definitely check out more theories. I always love stuff by Night Mind. But I also highly recommend a 3 part series by Film Tidbits called Trauma Theory. I'm not actually convinced that Trauma Theory is "right", but it is fascinating and actually made me cry toward the end.

I mean honestly this doesn’t seem too far fetched. Everything he mentions does have evidence to follow and back it up but I can see why you’d say it’s far fetched

Everyone please keep it in mind that these videos should only apply to the original series. They shouldn’t be used when trying to decipher the new series, as there is new lore.

I love this series so much. Everything from the creativity to the message behind it is so well written. I’ve fallen in love with the series since I first saw it, and I don’t think I’ll ever stop.

I would be so stoked to see your reactions to some film/game theories! To see two separate pieces of content I love, come together, would be EPIC.

Last time I said I wasn't sold on the theory but this video really helped sell it. Everything he pointed out (specifically Roy's role) made sense.

If you want to see more theories about DHMIS, you should watch Inside a Mind's theory titled, "We Were Wrong about Don't Hug Me I'm Scared"

As much as I love some of his older videos, it does make you notice that his sound editing used to be kind of messed up. In this one and a bunch of old game theory ones, the music just barely over powers the voice in a lot of moments.

while mat's theory doesn't stand it's ground that much now with the new show out and all it's new craziness, still looking back at these is really nostalgic lol. Keep it mind that these theories only apply to the original series. Once Matpat watches the new series, then he’ll make his video with theories that should only be applied to the new series.

(Before i say my theory I just wanna say that this will put more contex in my theory in the conments on the channel 4 dhmis show matpat theory reaction) my theory is very similar to matpat’s theory however I believe that the forms of the characters in the videos aren’t there real form because the show they’re in is a simulation made by roy because he made a deal with red guy to help him make the show and behind red guy’s back makes the “show machine” and the machine puts peoples minds in the show making them have memories and mind sets of the different characters and he does this because he wants to steal red guy’s show to take all of the profit the show makes for himself, that explains why yellow guy and duck don’t clock on to red guy not being there because when red guy escaped roy removed any memory of him from yellow guy and duck because the show machine can do that and he’s able to kill duck because again it wouldn’t be an issue because of the memory removal thing and he keeps yellow guy intact because he’s roy’s son so roy can’t kill him instead he makes him relive the same treacherous dot over and over and day is june 19th until red guy breaks the machine and frees yellow guy and adopts him, giving yellow the father he deserves. edit: OMME if you’re reading this make sure to also read my channel 4 series theory and if you don’t understand how they connect to each other then reply to me and I’ll give an explanation in the replies on both videos

My favorite episode of DHMIS is the one were it shows that we all exist for nothing and that we all haven't accepted our 'Lord and Savior' as just meat & bone., Oh. My..GOWRSH!!! We RRRR..AAAAARFFÉDÉ DEATHS

If i made a series and there were theories i think for fun i would wait a year or two after a bunch of theories were made and say that someone got it right but not say who so everyone would go crazy trying to figure out who was the guy who cracked the code lol Like gravity falls in a way

I think that this theory is still plausible, the events of the KZread series isn’t entirely or directly canon to the tv series. The first thing I noticed in the tv series is the huge jump in acting quality which I saw as showing how in the tv series they aren’t actors anymore but actual characters. Of course this does not mean the theory is correct just plausible.

@@seanerdzlolkinlord2478 that's true, i just meant it aged like milk in the sense that it doesn't line up with any newer theories, like David being Leslie's son and the characters remembering certain bits and pieces of the previous episodes; because the evidence didn't exist yet i meant as in it made perfect sense in its time, but aged poorly when compared to the new stuff, y'know?
