Thanks.. excellent video! Quick q - if a service needs to return response back to request then do all responses go via envoy proxy as well ? Or envoy only comes when request is routed to service and if service wants to communicate to other service?

Nana is by far the best educator on youtube when it comes to dev ops. Honestly no one even comes close to the detailed approach she takes for each video.

As someone who is trying to come up to speed on some of these "newish" dev ops tools, I couldn't agree more. Different people learn via different ways, and IMO Nana knows how to deliver the content based on a "what is the problem/challenge"..and this is how it is solved. While at the same time explaining the technical solution in an easily digestible format. Well done all around!!!

The content is well presented, precise and to point. Gives a solid foundation into service mesh as well as microservices architecture. Well done this is gold standard.

While others keep abstracting a concept with many even more abstracted terms and nested documents, you are doing such a great job that you try to explain in examples and then bring up the concepts in a clear way. Really thanks for your videos and diagrams in your videos. It saved me a lot of time to deal with the new terms and architecture.

Istio is really complicated. I had a very hard time understanding it myself. This is a NICE video to visualize istio components directly. Hope to see deeper Istio related concepts in the future ( egress, envoy, cert-manager)

You have great training skills, you make it look simple so people understands the concept. I think that's the biggest and more important step before going into a new tool/app/technology. If people get lost in documentation about a new tool, they will get frustrated and fear it. Thank you so much for your contribution, I learned at my beginnings from your videos and they helped me a lot. I always recommend you to people that want to understand what's under the hood. Love your tutorials Nana! Could you make a tutorial for how to build and deploy docker images to gitlab repositories? I've been trying for some time now, but i didn't even manage to make jenkins to run docker commands at all, and I'm sure that if you were to make a tutorial for this i'd be able to do it with no sweat, beacause your explanation are always so clear, and that's why i really love your tutorials and always come back to them to revise something that i might have forgotten
