I am going to Turkey for the 2nd time. My 1st visit was too short. Istanbul is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I am planning to retire there as many of my friends already have.

Istanbul indeed is beautiful city, however, staying for short time as tourist and actually living there are two different things.

Turkey is good for food and shopping and you did a great tour. I love your channel it is really pleasent to watch. When you get home make us more living in Arizona it is so interesting how you described living in a dessert and surviving the climate.

I hate to be that guy. It was actually Mehmet II that laid siege. Suleyman the Magnificent ruled a few decades later from Istanbul.

Constantinople now Istanbul was conquered by Sultan Mohammad 11(second) in 1453 AD & not by Sultan Suleman as the video narrator mentioned . Sultan Suleman constructed many magnificent buildings , amongst them the famous Sulemania Mosque . He known in history as Suleman the Magnificient.

Actually for your guys knowledge the Istanbul was conquered by Sultan Mehmed II of the Ottoman. Not by Sultan Suleyman he was a emperor later on down the road..
