Nice. I haven't tried mine on a strap yet. But I think it could be a bit of a strap monster.

I ordered the V1 in blue on a VERY cheap daily deal (under £30) and they sent the V2!! One happy customer. It's a lovely watch. Real weight and impressive finish. It gets a lot of attention, which is always nice I really love the red second hand! Great channel. Huge thanks for all you do.

I have it in white, which is a really spiffing watch. The dial is very subtly textured and nicely white (not the ugly 'champagne' of the Pagani's main inspiration). The distortion of the crystal is really wonderful. I bought several Paganis and sold them on because they ultimately did not have the 'it' factor, but this one is a keeper.

I also have a green one I picked up on Mercari for dirt cheap. I think this is becoming a top 2 or 3 Pagani for me. I do have a soft spot for slightly dressy field watches. I like almost everything about this one... except the lume. If they would apply five layers of lume and jack the price up $5 across the board, I think they'd dig into the Steeldive/Addiesdive level of watches which tend to be about 5% better overall, but 500% better lume. I know a lot of folks are starting to slag on Pagani overall but you can't deny their variety of watches. Love the details on the dial, love the dial color, like the hand set.

Blue is my favorite but all of them are quite nice. Dig this watch. Good stuff. Nice review. Cheers!

I avoided v1 and got blue v2 instead and am very happy with it. The clasp is surprisingly finished much better than those usual rolex style clasp from PD.

Nothing really wrong with this watch. The best looking colour option of the original is a champagne coloured dial. It watch could use some better AR coating and an applied logo wouldn't go amiss either. This would make an amazing watch out of what's already a very good watch! Nice review mate!

With good clear AR, i would buy it. I tried the Longines on at Macy’s and it is heavenly. The lugs are long and cool. It is a great watch, but twice the price it should be. I could see buying a pre owned, but I just do not love it enough for even that price. Who knows. I would jump on the Pagani if it had proper AR.

@@sinesaii You have to get the white version from Pagani. The lack of AR is not noticeable with the white dial. On dark dials it's more annoying.

Overall a damn good buy. I have the Air King which has a standard caseback which makes removal easy for regulation. This one not. Be aware the straps need refinishing to get rid of the sharp edges. If you're up to it then an excellent buy.

Yeah the build quality of these latest Pagani Design watches has definitely done up a notch... But they still need to improve some things.

This watch might look good on a type of homage to the Longines green silicone strap as well as the bracelet. Great review!

great review as always the lume is always an issue I would rather they got rid of the extra strap they put in and spent the money on a bit more lume, not my style (i have no style my wife says) great work as ever mate ))

Yeah it's definitely one of their best so far.

Nice looking watch in photos but with a single dome crystal is gonna be a reflection machine like my Hamilton Khaki King. With minimal AR, it's probably gonna be a pass. It's funny they mention that V2 has "more" AR but if it's anything like my PD1734, AR again is minimal. Shame they couldn't do flat or DD sapphire which would negate some of the need for more AR.

Nice looking watch, I agree just the logo really cleans up the dial, but come on Pagani, surely lume formula doesn't cost that much!!

Just got one ($65 SHIPPED). I bought it out of curiosity and to tinker with. So nice in person and my it's my 1st PD. Three issues with the head of the watch: 1-the flat-bottom (sgl dome) crystal; 2- poor lume 3-hands are cheap looking in person I could do something about 1 and 3, but not the lume. But then....it's not a diver. Cheers!

Lume has always been Pagani Design's Achilles heel.

They fixed almost everything with V.2. Only thing I wish they would offer is the option of a smoother highbeat movement like a PT5000 which they recently put in the 1723 models.

I have this in V2 Blue and overall I like it. Would have preferred it as a 39mm and a bit thinner. Quartz movement even maybe? Main disappointment would be the female end links on the bracelet. I do like that general style of bracelet but wish they had gone with male end links like on the Spirit it resembles. Pagani Design are at a really good standard of workmanship now. Have bought two watches on the current Mega Brands sale. RMALTI diver MM200 White birch dial and another with a sunburst blue/greenish? dial. Went for the 'No Logo' option for each of them. Bit of a weird brand name?

The diff between v1 and v2 is only at its second, minutes and hour hands where v1 bit shorter. That's all

@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR I completely agree with you. PD should put only an applied logo +- 5 % bigger on all their watches. I would put the Pagani Design text on the back case or on the rotor if it is a back glass case. C3 or BGW9 should also be better. They should offer their watch with a strap at x price and watch a bracelet at x price. Excellent review as usual HWR. Bonjour from Montréal !

Honestly I wear this one a lot more than some of my other more expensive watches. I like everything about it, except perhaps the crystal and of course the lume. (crystal is a little too reflective)

I have been collecting Seiko Astron and Citizen Atessa watches but these homage watches from Pagani with their price and quality make me want to try and get one.

They certainly offer a lot for not a lot of money.

It's a shockingly good watch to me especially for just over $100. I got it for 104 with coupons. With sales like the current one, I imagine you might be able to get it around the same price or less. The lume isn't great but it's okay for the type watch. It barely matters to me. The bracelet is decent and probably better than most, if not all, other PD bracelets. The bracelet is as good as or better than many Seikos, Orients, and Citizens--at least the watches under $500. The finishing on the watch head and dial are suburb in my opinion. Great watch. Much better than I expected.

Good one man. Me I would have preferred a double domed hardlex over a single domed sapphire.. It makes só much difference in appearance Some silicium carbide p1200 paper is to hardlex what polywatch is to acrylic

What I do not understand is why are Chinese avoiding original designs like it's fire. Seriously, the design of this dial can be easily tweaked and modified to be original while keeping the general "spirit" of the watch. Instead Pagani Design goes for some subtle differences. Same with Addiesdive's Hamilton Khaki Automatic homage. They've added a red accent (200m WR) which actually improves the looks a lot (now the tip of second hand is not the only red part in view), but it's way too little to call that watch "original". The quality is there, prices are awesome, but it's homage fiesta all over the place. And there's really a lot of ways to make an original looking field watch. Just combine 2-3 existing designs and it most likely will still look great. Regarding the lume - I wonder how it compares to f.e. Addiesdive MYH2, because that one can rival Orient Ray 2 when it comes to longevity, and Orient Ray 2 is a pretty solid performer.

I got this one month ago. The lack of AR and poor Lum really make me not wearing it as often.
