I've been impressed with Al Jazeera lately. I've watched a lot of good documentaries from them and I like that they're showing more than just one side of things.

It was a powerful, real, down-to-earth speech that underscores and shows the frustrating lack of understanding of the United Nations. Everyone in the world should see this speech and try to understand the Israeli side, the normal side that is connected to reality, that sees through the fog and masking, that sees accurately, a truth that is too horrifying to the simple ear, to an ear that does not know horrors, it can sound like too crazy stories and therefore cause some kind of Repressing it - which we are not allowed to do as united nations that want peace, we must understand and act to neutralize the terrible terrorism! I hope this speech permeates the entire world. Israel is making a brave, necessary move here, on the good, sane side of history.

Can they be blamed for that after what they have endured, doesn't make revenge right but as a human I understand it. ​@@DezorianGuythis is patently untrue. Oslo Accords was an acceptance of the two state solution. Arafat recognised the State of Israel- over 78% of historical Palestine. If that wasn't a massive compromise , I don't know what was.

@@salaahhhh You forgot to mention the minor point that Jordan had already been carved out in more than 80% of "historical Palestine" which means that the 78% would have left the Israelis with less than 14% of "historical Palestine" while chants of "from river to the sea…" that had become staple at Palestinian events left little room for doubt as to the real intentions of the Arafat & Co.

The jews were banished to Israel from all over the middle east, europe and other places, yet they played the cards they were dealt and made one of the strongest economies on earth. Maybe the palestinians should put their focus on the betterment of their own lives, rather than on fighting, so both sides can live peacfully along each other? After Israel destroys Hamas, the Palestinians will have another chance to rebuild a better society, elect a regime who takes care of them, and not uses them as meat shields.

Land was never stolen. And every time Israel wants to concede lands in peace agreements, those are rejected by the Arabs. Get it straight... these are the biblical lands of the Jews. Ottoman Arabs used war to take the land. It seems modern Arabs want to take it back by force and keep failing. Therefore, loosing more land in the process.
