"Weeks away" is not a measure of time but a measure of progress. It means they have so advanced the technology like enrichment that they can make a nuclear weapon in a few weeks. Of course, if they choose not to make one immediately, it won't get made but they can.

I doubt it. Iran and its military are pretty much still a third world country. Every time they tried the nuclear route, there are scientists and people involved got killed thinks the Israel. I don't think they're going to be making a nuclear bomb under Israel's watch Israel definitely has nuclear weapons because they stole them from the US back in the day just like Russia did. There is also claims an insider admitted to using the consulate to plan attacks which is against international law, if true then that would make it a legit target.
