I appreciate archaeology as a science. I always believed in David's existence, I believe he fought Goliath. I don't need a physical description of Christ to know He exist. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE biblical archaeology that is honest and faithful to God and His word, especially in a time when science has become people's idol. Many people in the world have corrupted science and use it against God, the Creator of all things. Honest Biblical archaeology can defuse dishonest arguments against God in the scientific community and in the world :) The world gets crazy over Egyptian archaeology but not for Israel, and it shows were our hearts truly are. I appreciate this :)

If there's one man in the Bible that fascinated me a great time is king David. He was a very special person to me. I love Yisrael and it's history. God bless.

Oh how exciting to watch this about King David. I was privileged to be in Israel, and did go into his tomb! David is one of my favorites and love, love the Psalms! Thank you I will keep watching. I just happened to see this on UTube as I was looking for another program.

God is good. May He use these facts to show more to people how real He is and how real His offer of free gift of salvation to all who will believe in His Son - Jesus, the Christ. Praise God!

I don't think you grasp the concept of evidence .. The biblical narrative is not evidence .and there is no physical evidence of David or Solomon. Example There is physical evidence of ancient Egypt,.such as a pyrimid....not just an inscriotion

The most important thing is recognizing that JESUS set the example for us to follow, NOT David. King David was important in Bible history but DO NOT replace him for JESUS. It’s all about JESUS.

Yes in many ways. Just remember that David is a ancestor of Jesus through the lineage of Joseph and I also think Mary. Also most of the psalms was given to him by the holy Spirit. Even David stumbled at time he had a great love for our Heavenly Abba Father 👍💖🇮🇱🇺🇸✡️✝️🕊️💯

The most important idea at the end, David set the example for us at what we can become with the help of God. And the Bible tells us how David did it.

That's s great great take. The man,King David. My recently passed mom called me obsessed by King David. I told her that King David had a incredible life and what he stood for is unprecedented. That's why is name is mentioned by Jesus st the end of the bible in the book of Revelation. The problem for most people who have known the David story. It consist of 2 things for them,Goliath & Bathsheba. They don't realize that the depth of this man is incredible. When you read about his life and the details in the Psalms. It makes you want to skip everything and get yo God right now. I was always a believer,but he taught me to go from mustard seed to boulders in thanking the lord for everything. And it's a joy to do it all during the day. Because God is worthy if that type of praise.

I'm so blessed to be the mother of a modern day King David my son' 💗

God called David a man after His heart that settles it for me

Love it when Archeology confirms what some of us know in our hearts to be the truth of the Bible.

The Bible also says that no civilization from before Noah's Flood survived. yet they have Ancient sites that are thousands of years older than the Flood. Also God didnt create man. Millions of years of Evolution did.

The path of Jesus on the night of his betrayal - across the Kidron (John), to the Mt of Olives (Synoptics) is same as David when betrayed by Absalom (2 Samuel 15). Also the path of the ark, carried by the priests. David sent the ark back to Jerusalem, and Jesus also follwed this path, arrested by the priests. David fled across the Jordan to save his life, Jesus returned to Jerusalem, to save David's (eternal) life - and ours. The words of Jesus about those who would follow him - "Where I am, there my servant will be" (John 12:26), allude to the words of Ittai the Gittite in 2 Samuel 15:21, as he explains why he won't leave David.

It's interesting to note that they call David by his name but God they take away his name. Jesus said that satin is the god of this world so the word God does not specify what God ,that's why God created names to identify individuals. So many people claim to support God but few know him by his name Jehovah in English yahwah in Hebrew Yahweh in Greek. Paul said it best " I bear witness they have a zeel for God ,but not according to accurate knowledge for they don't humble themselves to god's rightessness but seek there own rightessness. That's why there are so many religions ,roads away from Jehovah , to get away from Jehovah first you got to learn not to identify him by his name , almost all religious don't use his name. His people will use his name proudly and as he instructed them to do so. Soon a day is coming when all the world will turn on his people and he says that's like touching my eyeball , and then he will avenge them , and restore the earth to paradise conditions that's the reward for obedience to his rightessness !!! All praise Go to Jehovah. David's friend !

There are many ways to verify the reliability of Scripture from both internal evidences of transmission and agreement, to external confirmation through archeology and science. But perhaps the most persuasive argument can be found in the area of prophecy. If a book accurately and repeatedly predicts the future, it can safely be said that something special is going on, perhaps even something supernatural. And there are so many prophecies in the Scriptures that it should be easy to take a look and decide if the Bible is supernatural. The Bible prophesies Israel’s destruction and rebirth. It describes the Jewish people scattering to the four corners of the earth but yet God will bring them home. For about 2000 years they was no Israel up until 1948. The Jews had scattered and today there are more jews returning than ever before. So unlikely did a realistic restoration of the Jews to their Land seem that throughout church history, Christians, for the most part, could not conceive of a literal fulfillment of this promise. Therefore, many believers in Jesus interpreted these prophecies figuratively or historically-if they thought of them at all. There are literally hundreds of other fulfilled prophecies that we could describe. God gives us a sneak preview of the Messiah when Jacob provides the future blessings for his sons in Genesis 49. When Jacob comes to Judah, he says: “The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until He comes to whom it belongs and the obedience of the nations is His” This is just one of the Old Testament prophecies about the coming of the Messiah. Refer: Numbers 24:17-19 Psalm 2:7-9 Isaiah 42:1-4 But it doesn’t stop there. In the New Testament, we see the fulfillment of the whispered Messiah in the Old Testament. Add up all the hundreds on hundred of fulfill prophecies. We have to stop and ask ourselves how is this possible? It’s only possible because a one true God who is alpha and omega A-Z has been there from the beginning and has seen it all and knows it all. Look into Matthew, Mark, Luke, John and Revelation and you’ll see a lot of striking prophecies we can see happening in our world today. God bless!

Love the prophecy at Isaiah 61:1,2, as Jesus walked into the synagogue and said,"Today this scripture that you just heard is fulfilled today"(Luke 4:21)..amazing to have been there!

While I'm truly inspired by Israeli archeology, this particular video was difficult to sort the vocal dialogue from bursts of music overriding vocal sounds. Some of the dialogue, about halfway on, was more muted than the first portion. I often find in many videos from other venues, that the music can become overwhelming. None the less thank you for the efforts to share new discoveries in Israel.

I read through some of the life of Muhummad and realized there were a lot of similarities between the Bible and what is in the life of Muhummad although Muhammad wasn't born until almost 600 years after Christ was Resurrected.
