Ireland has 1.62% of the population that are Muslims, Norway has 3.3% and Spain has 5.32%. Hardly huge. UK, France and Germany are the countries in Europe with high percentages of Muslims.

We all know damn well if Palestine got it's own independence they'd make Oct 7th look tame. India and Pakistan had a similar issue but at the end of the day they didn't have the history that Israel and Palestine. Let's be real, there is no path to peace.

These 3 European countries rank among the most antisemitic. Ireland sent condolences to Nazi Germany when Hitler died in 1945. There was the famous Limerick Pogrom in 1904 against Irish Jews. After the war irela nd gave political asylum to Nazis like Otto Skorzeny. So did Spain the country of the Inquisition. Norway under quisling shipped all Norwegian Jews to Auschwitz. Ireland only recognised Israel in 1964 and Spain in 1994.

Ireland is not antisemitic. Regards De Valera and Ireland if the Irish and De Valera were antisemitic why was this in the Irish constitution? The Irish Constitution of 1937 specifically gave constitutional protection to Jews. This was considered to be a necessary component to the constitution by Éamon de Valera because of the treatment of Jews elsewhere in Europe at the time.

The statement that Israel will never recognize a Palestinian state is completely false. It is the Palestinians who have continuously refused every two state solution brought to the table since the inception of Israel. What do you think "from the river to the sea" means? Perhaps his ignorance of the actual history of attempted negotiations is why he is a FORMER professor (look up Emeritus). I have always been sympathetic to the plight of the people in the occupied territories. But, how does a nation negotiate with group whose prime objective is to wipe them off of the map?

Palestinians have a right to a homeland just as much as Jews do. Spain, Norway and Ireland have a right to their own countries as well. Both Ireland and Norway have small populations so the suggestion of importing Palestinians is daft and not helpful to anyone of those populations. Why should countries far removed from the Middle East be expected to solve the problems of that area when they aren't even involved in the wars? If anything the US is more responsible for taking any such refugees or countries actively supplying ammunition to either Israel or Palestine. Those countries should be responsible for refugees.
