Israel-Hamas War | ICJ to deliver judgment on South Africa’s request
All eye's are on the International Court of Justice in The Hague this Friday afternoon.
The World Court is expected to deliver its judgment on South Africa's request to order Israel to stop military operations in Rafah.
South Africa and Israel delivered oral arguments before the court in the Hague in the Netherlands a week ago.
The judgment will follow the chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court Karim Khan's application for arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his Defence Minister Yoav Gallant, as well as three Hamas leaders for war crimes and crimes against humanity.
SABC News correspondent Alex Cadier is in The Hague and joins us live.

Why does anyone think Hamas would stop its ambitions of destroying Israel? Why does anyone believe there are 35,000 casualties - the UN had to admit it does not have the names/bodies of 12,000 casualties, so it had to revise down its total causality numbers of woman and children by 50%. Do they not understand the Islamic “Taqiyya appears in Sura 3:28:" ? “Let not the believers take the unbelievers for friends; and whoever does this, shall have nothing to do with Allâh in any matter; unless you do this to protect yourselves from the unbelievers. Thus Allâh cautions you to have reverence only for him. To Allâh is destiny.” in other words, in a time of war its encouraged to lie; Regarding 3:28, Ibn Kathir writes, “… believers who in some areas or times fear for their safety from the disbelievers… are allowed to show friendship to the disbelievers outwardly, but never inwardly.” Ibn Kafthir quotes Muhammad‘s companion, Abu Ad-Darda’, who said “we smile in the face of some people although our hearts curse them"

One wishes South Africa would also take Russia to this court for its genocidal and illegal invasion of Ukraine. But no how can SA criticize a BRICS member. Rather report on the potholes and outages, and corruption, and murders in SA. Rule #1 in politics when you’ve got problems point fingers at other countries.
