Israel-Hamas war: Gaza aid pier is completely built, US officials say | LiveNOW from FOX
A U.S.-built pier is in place to bring humanitarian aid to Gaza by sea, but no one will know if the new route will work until a steady stream of deliveries begins reaching starving Palestinians.
U.S. military officials hope to start with about 90 truckloads of aid a day through the sea route, growing quickly to about 150 trucks a day.
International experts say all 2.3 million of Gaza's people are experiencing acute levels of food insecurity, 1.1 million of them at "catastrophic" levels. Power and U.N. World Food Program Director Cindy McCain say north Gaza is in famine.
U.S. officials agree that the pier is only a partial solution at best, and say they are pressing Israel for more.
Meanwhile, Israel’s defense minister Yoav Gallant said the military would send more troops into Rafah while fighting also rages in northern Gaza, where Hamas has regrouped.

Where have you been for the last 2 years? Biden already did the infrastructure bill. Search online for the interactive map where you can see where infrastructure projects are happening. The map also tells you how much each project cost. Bringing good paying jobs all over the country. It's probably several projects going on near you.

Actually if memory serves me correctly..... say 20 some odd years old raised extension frwys in a certain area could not be done. The benefits included not carving up the ground and laying asphalt down that would flood everytime it rained and also not destroying the land to begin with. The real purpose for this is probably to export the oil and gas from Gaza. A UN report says there is an estimated $4.5 billion in gas and oil reserves just offshore of northern Gaza and in Gaza.

@@eleanapshock9016 The real purpose for this is probably to export the oil and gas from Gaza. A UN report says there is an estimated $4.5 billion in gas and oil reserves just offshore of northern Gaza and in Gaza. Rishi Sunak's father-in-law has already signed a deal with a big oil company to mine this stuff.
