Israel-Hamas war: Fighting in Rafah continues ahead of looming invasion | LiveNOW from FOX
Fighting between Israeli military and Hamas militants continues near the Gaza city of Rafah.
On Thursday, smoke could be seen rising above a Kuwaiti hospital in Rafah. On Friday, flares were seen illuminating the night sky nearby.
Israel’s move into Rafah has been short of the full-scale invasion that it has planned. The United States is deeply opposed to a major offensive and is stepping up pressure by threatening to withhold arms to Israel.
The U.N. agency for Palestinian refugees, known as UNRWA, said more than 110,000 people have fled Rafah. Families who have already moved multiple times during the war packed up to go again. One woman held a cat in her arms as she sat in the back of a truck piled with her family’s belongings about to head out.
LiveNOW's Austin Westfall spoke about the Rafah operation with former Marine Corps intelligence officer Hal Kempfer.

Even though Hamas has just buried the last attempt at any rational negotiation by saying sort of: "We will return all hostages to Israel... I mean, the corpses of all of the hostages whom we have been torturing and slaying", the US has been trying to sell that Israel should still try to negotiate with Hamas over dead Israeli bodies, even trying to convince Israel that if they halt the Rafah operation, completely, Israel would them have a 'stronger hand' in such negotiations. One can only deduce after this the people responsible for putting it forward in the Biden Administration are living in an alternate reality. If this is what Hamas proposes, Israel is much better off entering Rafah and trying to rescue the hostages by itself instead of waiting for Hamas to have the remainder of them tortured and slain. So much for the Biden Admin. shining ones who thought they knew better and now have the blood of the hostages on their hands for meddling so forcefully in Israeli affairs.

If any party other than Hamas were in power in Gaza right now, it might have tried to lobby for international support for the Palestinians of East Jerusalem a few days or weeks longer before launching rockets on Israel. But seeing its fellow countrymen and women made homeless, time and time again, would ultimately have forced the hand of even a non-Hamas government in Gaza, either drawing it into the fight or making it so unpopular for not getting involved that it’d be forced out of power. That’s why to focus on Hamas is to miss the point, and to reinforce the myth that the conflict is, in some fundamental manner, about the group. The conflict is about the Israeli occupation.

That is a big if. There are so many beautiful people in Palestine riders, poets, scientist, doctors that have dedicated their lives teachers to doing good saving people just trying to live their life under this absolute outrageous occupation, kids that loves foosball and KZread and songs and their families their food their culture and they’re still hated. They’re still hated. There’s nothing these people can do, nothing they’re hated because they’re existing on earth and Israel is doing nothing to protect them. They’re doing the bare minimum and I think that is only because the world is dropping flyers like these people can pick up and go just whenever Israel says go cause we’re gonna kill a bunch of people it’s sickening. There’s so many wounded people. How do they expect them to just pick up all these wounded people and leave on a dies notice all these old people all thesekids are severely wounded from bombs breathing alone that air from all those bombs is hard women that have periods every month and water. It’s just it’s insane. It’s insanity. It’s inhumane they’re being treated worse than cattle association. They deemed terrorists.

So, on October 8 it was okay to put an end to Hamas, but now it's not!? My solution is for the Palestinians to find a Muslim country that will have them. I'm sure Israel would love to have all that beach front.

So as an Aussie you are prepared to share your back yard with the local indigenous people. This occupation of Palestine is happening now and it does not belong to Israel. Israel as an occupying force is required to follow international law along with black rock who are contracted to operate the temporary port. America is directly linked to what is happening.

Actually I think he’s wrong about them wanting to corner HAMAS and not let them escape. From what I’ve seen regarding strategy and military expert analysis I believe they are trying to make HAMAS feel cornered and stuck in Rafah so the terrorists try to flee. Then they will use surveillance to track where they go, how they communicate, and track down the HAMAS rabbit holes right to the nest.
Trying to get Palestine membership in NATO is an o.k for Hamas. Because the people elected Hamas politicians.
