I'm not at all worried that Israel will "destroy Iranian civilization," but obviously war should be a last resort. I think that war is a bit of a red herring. The main question which Iranians in the diaspora must ask themselves is whether regime change in Iran is a necessary desired goal. The people of Iran have loudly and clearly answered that question during the past year. If the diaspora agrees with Iranians on that point, then their duty is to work with Israel, US, and Europe to find/plan ways to make it happen. The US has done this before, even when Iranian internal support for a "coup d'etat" wasn't necessarily as high as today, but now they shy away from direct funding for regime change around the world. The fact is that we need more democracy around the world, and the Iranian people have very strongly signaled that they're prepared for it. But they may need some more help, including, if necessary, military assistance and intervention. Regarding Iranian civilization: there is NOT a THING that Israel will do to Iranian civilization that's even one fraction as bad as what the Islamists have already done for the last thousand years. Israel can only help, if it's done with planning and consideration.
