Nitrogen is made by two isotopes N-14 and N-15 .given nitrogens atomic weigh of 14.007.what is the percent abundance of each of isotope
@aineeshafeeu7399
3 жыл бұрын
@@happinessnyamete4242 well i dont know the exact value so i used 14 and 15 as amu for the n-14 and n-15 step1. 14.007 = (y x 14) + ((1-y) x 15) step2. 14.007 = 14y +15 - 15y step3. 14.007 - 15 = 14y - 15y step4. -0.993 = -1y step5. -0.993/-1 = y n-14= 0.993 x 100 n-15= (1- 0.993) x 100 n-14= 99.3% n-15= 0.7%
Melissa, I just found your channel and it feels like you've saved my life. 😭🙏🙏

Melissa Maribel Hii, actually there is something - I was wondering whether you had or could make a video on Enthalpy changes and Hess’s cycles, they’re so confusing! I would really appreciate it, thank youu.
I have been teaching chem for 35 years! I love your videos and recommend them to all of my students! You are a natural teacher. BTW I am a color girl too. I love the markers and other office supplies. I need to be in therapy for my office supply addiction. Stay healthy and happy!
I love that you understand the power of colorful visuals and clearly outlined, step-by-step instructions. Your videos and notes are going to save a lot of students' grades and sanity!
OMG I LOVE YOU SO MUCH MARIBEL, i have been stressing for my exams and ever since i started watching your videos i have been at ease you saved my life, you are a chemistry hero. Thank you so much for your help and keep up the good work.
This video was probably the best way anybody could explain how to do this. You are awesome

Excellent video! It really helped that you went step by step with the math. A lot of people like myself have a hard time with chemistry because it has been a very long time since we took an algebra course so it helps to relearn the math. Many thanks!
This is so well explained and your way of speaking is just so sweet. You make me believe in myself in the way that I want to give my all. Thank you so much! 🙏 I love you haha
I LOVE YOU!!! ❤️ Thank you so much! And I really needed that reminder in the beginning of the video that it’s all gonna be okay.
