Mayuri’s speech on Perfection is one of the best moments in the series. And yeah, Bleach is definitely for an older demographic. The TYBW anime does not hold back on the gore!

Bleach was never a show for kids, especially if your a manga reader, the original anime censored everything, can't wait for you to catch up on the tybw arc anime adaptation 😂😂

When it comes Zaraki, just remember that he is his own worst enemy. He's basically a Saiyan that reincarnated in the wrong universe, strengths and flaws.

Anime director might come off childish but the manga was definitely targeted for late teenagers/young adults since most of the series themes are about finding one’s self and overcoming past trauma or current trauma. Also Mayuri speech is defiintion of Kubology

If one read the original manga, Bleach is definitely not for kids, teens yes, but not kids in that sense. Once you reach the TYBW, you’ll be seeing Bleach in its full violent glory.

Hollows can have high speed regeneration ability. Though, for Nnoitra it seems to be just his ability to sprout more arms, up to 6 at a time, in his released state.

Yep! This is true of most (if not all) high-level Menos, but it should be noted that most give up this ability when they become Arrancar in exchange for a power boost. Nnoitra's Resurrección seems to give him this ability back, at least when it comes to his arms

Most hollow can regenerate But most arrancars cannot

The perfection speech in English hits a bit harder, but it’s one of my most remembered moments from the entire show

Re: What Mayuri did to Nemu -That's Bleach author's Kubo Tite's classic prank for his readers, he knows kids read his manga and watch his show so he intentionally put some very borderline 18+ content just subtle enough to pass Shonen Jump (The Magazine's company) standard check. Shonen Jump is manga dedicated for teenagers so they would not allow too much nudity and 18+ content on their magazine. He intentionally put it there so that kids will ask questions their parents about it (what exactly happened here) and the parents wouldn't be able to answer comfortably. (Japanese society is quite conservative in that way despite having the biggest adult film industry) He likes to put parents in embarrassing situations. He also broke 4th wall and spoke through Mayuri: "I didn't do anything dirty here, it is your mind that is dirty" Another great example is Hisagi Shuhei's "69" tattoo on his face, Kubo Tite admitted that IT IS you think it is (despite how he covered it up in the manga).

This show was never for kids, there’s already plenty of blood, death, swearing and sexual innuendos even before this.

Perfection is more of a relaxing feeling when I achieved it in a skill I have. I only achieved it a few times but it’s nice while it lasts.

Imagine getting bummed Ichigo only has one special ability to spam when Kenpatchi doesn't even have anything.

That is why Mayuri is the best captain for me. his speech is a phylosophy for itself.

Arrancars get healed when they use resurrection. But Ulquiorra is exceptional in healing his body. He don't need resurrection. Some arrancars can regenerate their hands, but not their main organs.

I don't think Kenpachi has a true love for killing it's moreso a love for fighting killing and death is just a byproduct. It's the same way the best boxers in the world don't actually want to irreversibly hurt or kill their opponents but both sides accept that is always a possibility.

I recommend you to watch the Manga, to be more precise these chapters there and look at the panels of kubo. The Manga is super R rated and brutal, bleach here is heavily censored due to the time the show was being aired because it was in early hours of the morning, but once you get to the new anime in the future you'll see how brutal it is without anything being covered or censured, heck the new anime is even more brutal than the Manga so be ready for it. Also yes, mayuri did that with nemu, and also she got pregnant by zyaelapporro. Just watch the Manga for this one

The one thing I wish for the OG bleach is for the pacing to be quicker. The sequence should be much faster so it doesn't feel drag out. It feels like it should be watch at 1.5x speed. The manga is much more impactful, they don't just stand and stare at each other while dust fly around. It's supposed to be constant action and sequence. I pray for a reanimation one day. 🙏

[Tidbits & Clarifiations] - In regards to Szayel's death, some people miss an important part of his punishment, Scientist strive to discover new things, in short it's ever-evolving, so the idea of punishing a scientist by making them stagnant makes it that much worse. - Don't let Yachiru's obsession with Kenpachi's fight slip the mind, it plays a part in a hidden plotline - If you think back, Nemu isn't the only character that has displayed robotic-like attributes yet has a human appearance
