Ismo, you are one of the rare comedians whose jokes just always land and make me laugh. Your timing, accent, awkwardness, it all comes together in a full package = Epic comedian. If you ever come to Kuala Lumpur, I'm bringing my family and friends.

I got in trouble with accountants at work when I sent an executive to Australia from Canada. He left October 20 and returned October 31. I didn't make a claim for his per diems (or whatever the plural for diem is) on October 21 because he was in the air and lost a day and I made 2 claims for October 31. They thought that I was silly but he did he was given back the day stolen from the middle of his life and I wanted to recognise that.

For example depart Auckland 5:55 PM, arrive LAX 9:00 AM the same day, while NZ is on DST and USA is not (Nov 5 - Mar 12 this year). So you get to do those 8h55m twice (not on a plane). I've done it many times. And I lost my birthday once, flying back to NZ.@@geografiainfinitului

I'm actually missing a day from my life because of the Int'l Dateline. I was working on Kwajalein when they changed sides of the Dateline. We went to bed on the 20th, and got up the 22nd, the next day. August 21st, 1993 never happened for me.

He is a little off. Usually it takes 14-15h from LA or SFO to Auckland. To arrive on the 12th of April at exactly the first minute pf that day, 1 minute after midnight - he must depart between 14:00 to 15:00h on the 10th of April. Usually the US flight arrive at 5-6 in the morning in Auckland, which means they depart at about 19:00-20:00h from SFO two days ago. Butnot in the morning 😉 I ❤ the US. And I ❤ NZ! And if I marry my girlfriend someday, I know thatvwe will some day spent an anniversery on Hawaii- And get on the plane late at night- First class tobthe US Westcoast- And enjoy the day again 😅

I left Vancouver on a flight to Brisbane, Australia on the 30th of December 2019 (a 14.5 hour flight) and arrived home in Brisbane on the morning of the 1st of January 2020…totally missed the New Year celebrations and felt cheated because the cabin crew didn’t even wake us up to celebrate when crossing the International timeline. Arrived home jet lagged and totally bummed out…and a few weeks later we were all in lockdown (that’s karma for taking away a day of my life I’ll never get back) 🤣😂

Flying backward could pose challenges related to stability, control, and efficiency. Aircraft are typically designed with aerodynamics optimized for forward flight, and flying backward may disrupt airflow patterns and stability characteristics.

I am from New Zealand and I sincerely apologize for your lost day. It's a travesty of Justice it should never happen it's all to do with International Date lines and time differences that have been set by the Greenwich mean time international clock setting Society. So take it from me we in New Zealand don't like the situation either which is why when we go overseas we never come back
