Truer words never been said. We using Acronims EVERYWHERE despite the fact that most word processors or devices where we can type autocomplete anything we type. I hate Acronyms.

I left France twenty five years ago, and i have the same issue when i back to visit relatives, most of times they talk with local acronyms for anything it s quiet disturbing to feel as tourist on the land where i born.

I'm pretty sure if you can yell "I need CPR", you don't need CPR.

I think in some way the audio channels are out of phase. But ISMO is still funny of course.

People who need CPR don't yell and people who yell don't need CPR.

Actually, ISMO is right. The use of acronyms in the States has reached a sickening level. I left the States over 50 years ago, and many times nowadays, I have no idea WTF is being written, because it ain't English. It took me quite a while to figure out WTF was meant by SCOTUS, for example. There are quite a few I still don't know. LOL

If you pronounce letter by letter they are initialisms, more accurately. Acronyms can be pronounced as a word, like NASA. But I have to concede that in everyday speech acronyms mean all kinds of non-grammatical abbreviations.@@Llorx

He told this one in the one of his shows, she was together 13 yrs and 9 of them married with her. When they moved to LA, and Ismo became popular, he started to travel a lot and his wife was complaining why he is never home? And then came a pandemic, and Ismo stayed at home 😂. That was then the hard reality. She has her own successful career and they are good friends until today. So there was no any ditching involved. They agreed to separate.Thank You Wuhan !
