I love it! Funny thing is that I have been asked to do karaoke a few times and my response was always Sure, as long as it's a duet, How about Islands in the stream or Endless love? No takers yet . When someone accepts, I now know it'll be "THE ONE"😂 All the very best to y'all ❤️

One my favourite things about SingIt Live is the bass player. Those lines are always spot on.

Shaun's vocals are impeccable. Nikki of course, well...........she's Nikki! This whole band is just impossibly GREAT!

@@JK-js2td haha, thank you. It was never really a song I thought twice about, I knew of it, and I loved Dolly as a kid. That’s what I love about playing covers though, as you have probably experienced yourself in those 4 decades, sometimes only by playing a song do you really get a feel for what’s under the hood. And some songs really take me by surprise at how enjoyable they are to do. This was one!

Smooooooooth! Everyone here is fantastic, but Nikki has something special that just draws attention her way. I've noticed it in other performances, even when she's in the background. Whatever "it" is, Nikki has it!

To me this is one of the greatest songs ever. I loved the HSCC version and I adore SingIt Live one. First slightly more rock, this one, especially because of Shaun, more country. And Nikki, boy, Nikki's has a country soul. Wish you would do more country songs. All the best!

Excellent Sing it Live! Your time machine takes me back to a more innocent era which was all too short. Problem is it's for memories and therefore too small, so I can't get in it and go back. Great vocalists and as always you knock my socks off Nikki.

Darren 'Magic' Mullan achieves god-like status, having masterminded another gorgeous cover. Six excellent performers...SIL is a band that is worth so much more than the sum of its parts.. What a joy every Friday night is, awaiting SIL latest release !

This is a testament to just HOW GREAT this group is. I am not a Fan of this song, but am a massive fan of Darren & the gang ❤. I listened to it several times & voilà I LOVED it. They didn't replicate the other duets before them. SHAUN & NIKKI brought it to a different level. Their chemistry as people who genuinely like/respect each other shone. CRAFTY didn't know this song, but because he is Such a PRO he stepped up like he Always does & he's FUNNY 😆. SIL did what is characteristic of them. They made it theirs. Another classic for the Singit Live archive. A slightly lower tone for Shaun, saves his poor little voice. Nikki and him gel so well. We know this had to be re-recorded due to a technical hitch, but any version would have been great. At least they came back with matching outfits. A subdued Crafty still manages to get his trademark humor in, jumping between them at exactly the right part. Damo is as chilled as ever. Mario has some big beats to hit, and Darren "Octopus Hands" Mullen brings it all home. Long may they reign! Harley is just as hidden as ever. Kudos from Matty x.

Svelte rendition of a classic, beautifully sung by Shaun and Nikki, with rhythm section percolating along nicely in the background. Poor Crafty wanted to get in on the action but Nikki kept thwarting his best intentions 😛 Oh well, can't be a crafty bugger all the time, but he did his part.

I think it's great they tried this song as it is good to hear other renditions of it. It is a great song and has great vibes to it. Their performance is well ok, they need to put more oomph into it. Now that I have listened to it, I see what makes Dolly and Kenny so f@#$$#g good at what they do. They just bring that song to life. The Dolly Kenny version is a true work of art. When you got talent it just shines true.

Smiles on my face every Friday night in the USA from SIL - thank you! Dolly and Kenny would be so proud of this version, an incredible duet recreated by Nikki, Shaun and Darren on backups. Great to see Crafty in there too as well as Damien and Mario, the rocks of the band. What a gift you give us - no words are enough to express gratitude for sharing your collective talent.
