Thought this film was pretty great! Some really beautiful cinematography, good atmosphere, the creatures are actually pretty well thought out and explained, unlike most monster movies, and the cast is solid. The ending is a little underwhelming, but on the other hand, having a super bleak or super happy ending is also wildly overdone and very hard to pull off, so having it be more ambiguous and a little haunting was probably a good call. I'd like to give it a rewatch some time to see how it feels on a second view.

I knew nothing about this film before watching, so came to it with an open mind and enjoyed it, having googled it afterwards I just found out the writer was Tess Gerritsen, one of my favourite authors. I can see why it worked now, despite the lower budget. It's worth the watch, not sure what the other commenters wanted, but this was much stronger than most films of this type and budget!

This an absolutely brilliant movie. As to the person who complained that it’s too slow moving. That’s how suspenseful 🎥 you build a fantastic pot-boiler’ of a horror movie. Thank you very much to the film makers and the acting crew and the distribution people. 🏆🏅🎖

The most amazing quality of this movie is the mystery in it, unlike any other movies these days it’s really tough to detect the patterns making it even harder to predict what comes next all the way to the end of it.

Hi the film finished with an ambiguous ending. But if you’d been listening to the story. The highly secretive‘government agency was trying to make friends with the aliens and would eliminate anyone who knew of their existence. So Sam was shot dead by the people on the Navy helicopter. The girlfriend,Lucy bled out and died. While Maggie,,Jessie, Ruth and Alvin hopefully survived until daylight cuz Maggie has brains.However, in hindsight the secret agency would make sure they never reached the mainland. Conspiracy theories aren’t bs . But this movie is just a great movie 🎥.
