ISLAND OF CAPRI THE BLUE CAVE BOAT TRIP

ISLAND OF CAPRI THE BLUE CAVE BOAT TRIP
Known as the Pearl of the Mediterranean, Capri is one of the most enchanting islands in the world: a small paradise on earth, located in the heart of the Gulf of Naples, which attracts millions of tourists every year.
Capri is full of enchanting places, such as Villa Jovis, Monte Solaro, Anacapri, but the most iconic of all is undoubtedly the famous square of Capri. By now it has become a symbol of worldly life and of Capri elegance, Piazza Umberto I is the real heart of the island. With its bars and panoramic terrace, it represents the most exclusive area ever, which welcomes celebrities and tourists from every corner of the world.
From here the main streets of the island wind their way, first of all Via Camerelle, the luxury shopping street par excellence. Here it is possible to stroll surrounded by the refined high fashion boutiques of the most important stylists and fantasize about being a star. The atmosphere of exclusivity that reigns in the streets of Capri and the fact that it is a very popular destination even for VIPs are in fact one of the main reasons why Capri is famous.
One of the most fascinating places not only on Capri, but in the whole world, is the Blue Grotto. It is a natural cavity, dug into the rocky coast of the island, and characterized by a singular blue light that makes it a unique cave of its kind.
The particular phenomenon is due to the refraction of light in the water and to a play of reflections which retains the colours, letting only the blue out. But any explanation of the phenomenon would not do justice to its beauty and the feeling of awe one gets when one observes it for the first time.
The visit to the cave is in fact very suggestive: you enter aboard small rowing boats guided by sailors who sing classic Neapolitan songs, which then resound resonantly between the walls of the cavity.
Much more than just a place to visit, the Blue Grotto is a magical experience to do at least once in a lifetime.
Another of the most emblematic symbols of the island of Capri is undoubtedly that of the faraglioni, three large blocks of stone that emerge from the sea to offer breathtaking views.
Their name derives from the Greek pharos, or "lighthouse", since in ancient times it was customary to climb these rock formations to signal the route to sailors with large fires. What not many people know is that each of these three rocks also has its own name: Saetta, Stella and Scopolo are in fact the three names of the stacks (di Terra, di Mezzo, di Fuori respectively).
